Lizhong knew that Yu Fen's departure was only because of the phone call, so he tried to find the caller. After a series of investigations, he finally found Shu An. After drinking, Lizhong stole Gu's pistol and went to kill Yu Fen and her supervisor, Shen Weibin.
At this point in the story, I found out that all this is just a plot in Yu Fen's award-winning novel, not a real incident. The real situation is that the male protagonist committed suicide with a police gun.
