The Germans went on the expedition, and all the people happily sent them off. In school, everything was despised, and personal values and ideals were completely deprived. Just like Paul’s dream of a writer, it is the most important thing for students to be brainwashed, and Behn who does not want to participate in the war is also the most important thing. Forced to join the army and eventually died prematurely on the battlefield.
