I watched this movie a long time ago, almost two years ago. This is true for Sumita, ordinary is nothing but a luxury to him. The earthquake and a series of injuries have completely changed Sumita's life. In addition to being a mess, he has to endure the torture of debt collectors every day, and he has to face the reality of his mother fooling around with a man, until one day, he couldn't bear it anymore and killed his father... Sumita just wanted to be an ordinary or even mediocre person, but life was like a surging wave, so strong that it pushed everything in front of him. Although Yuan Ziwen is known as a "ghost director", his movies have been going up and down all the time. But seriously, the castings of Shoga Someya and Fumi Nikaido are really good. The two have a very sluggish feeling, so they can naturally control the low-pressure atmosphere of the whole film very well. There is a scene where Someya will smear all kinds of pigments on his face frantically, and he is a bit oppressed to the point of giving up on himself and going to a low point. It is very warm and cool.
