When I heard people mention this film by chance, I was originally in a lively mentality, and the first few shots did not appear to be very orderly, but what I didn’t expect was that the more I watched it, the more it sank, and the more I watched it, the more I was surprised.
Originally, I simply thought that Wu Shihao was so handsome when he was fighting, and Lei Luo's voice was so gentle, but he was moved by the brotherhood behind him; I thought it was brotherly loyalty, but I didn't expect that he finally returned to human nature and the meaning of life itself; I just want to conjecture down the theme of "life and death, wealth and honor are in the sky", but in the end, new or even more themes can be extended - such as loneliness.
Maybe it's because impressive works have something in common. Wu Shihao and Lai Luo's brothers left them one by one, just like Fugui in "Alive", in the end only the old scalper was left, and it was also like "an old man, a girl, a yellow dog" at the beginning of "Border Town", Loneliness is indeed unbearable on the night of mental breakdown, but the loneliness after the excitement is even more of an addiction that cannot be stopped.
