I was fored to look forward

After watching this, I like it very much, especially the narration, many words are worth chewing over and over again, one of the dialogues: Liz plans to finish the 4-year course in 2 years, the teacher said "You are going to kill yourself" Liz: "No,I'm gonna live" and many more, such as a paragraph after getting the New York Times bonus
Liz:"Eventhing is changed, my life will never be the same"
Reporter:"How did you do this?"
Liz:" How could I not do it?,My parents show me what the alternative was"
Reporter"Did u ever feel sorry for yourself? Like sleeping in the subway, eating discarded food?"
Liz:"That has always been my life, I got lucky because every sense of security was put out from me, so I was fored to look forward, I had to , there was no going back, I reach the point, all right, I'm gonna work as hard as I possiblly can ,and see what happens”
I listened to myself, it’s not very accurate, I really want to read the original book.
This one is very similar to “The Pursue of Happiness”, it is about when the most basic survival becomes a challenge, they How to overcome difficulties and climb to the top of the goal, they are all true stories.
Whenever I encounter difficulties, I will think of "Shawshank's Redemption", "The pursuit of happiness", and Liz.

Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story quotes

  • Chris: I don't want to go to school. I don't belong there and neither do you.

    Liz Murray: Yes, I do.

Chris: You think they let people like us in to Harvard?

  • Liz Murray: I loved my mother, so much. She was a drug addict. She was an alcoholic. She was legally blind. She was a schizophrenic. But I never forgot, that she did love me. Even if, if she did. All the time. All the time. All the... All the time.
