Subway is home

One year, I watched "Wind and Rain Harvard Road" on CCTV6, and it has been my favorite movie for many years.

How immeasurable the suffering that a person encounters, and how much energy he has to bear, he will never have an answer if he does not work hard.

A mother is very important to the growth of a child's inner warm and cold tones. Even if this love is short-lived by external factors (such as illness and death), it can accompany the child for a lifetime, giving the child a firm belief, like a kind of protection.

Good teachers are hard to come by. Although they only accompany you for a period of time, they inspire you for the rest of your life.

The most unforgettable is her subway home.

Movies shouldn't be made this way

Good inspirational story, but a little scribbled. The opening is good, the back and forth of the close-up and the overall dark tone create an uneasy and depressing atmosphere. What moved me the most was the words Chris wrote on Liz's mother's coffin, especially when the misspelled name was crossed out. The little girl who played Liz was so cold that I couldn't identify with this character. The back shots are all very popular, and there is nothing outstanding.

Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story quotes

  • Liz Murray: I'm smart. I know I can succeed. I just need a chance. A chance to climb out of this place I've born in. Everyone I know are angry and tired. They're trying to survive. But I know that there is a world out there that is better, that's better developed. And I want to live in it.

  • Liz Murray: I love you, dad.

Peter: That's a waste of energy.
