The first one came so wonderfully, it surprised people like the rising sun, and brought endless thoughts. In this film with homosexuality as the main selling point, the young director is obviously not satisfied with just depicting the love between the same sex, but he sweeps the family, friendship and love, echoing each other and expressing a more profound theme.
TONG's family finds the long-lost warmth, YING's dedication to MEW, etc. I don't want to say more, only TONG and MEW are the soul of the whole film. I like the carelessness of TONG when he was a child, the joy that TONG can't hide when he sends gifts in the way of treasure hunting, the clear eyes of TONG in his youth, and the natural and pure smile when TONG's true feelings are revealed. Unforgettable MEW's helplessness and loss when his best friend moved, MEW's pride and satisfaction after writing "Walking Together", MEW's self-absorption and intoxication when he sang to TONG, and MEW's sincere and sweet expression like sunshine. The crystal-like admiration of the two beautiful teenagers, how could it not make people deeply moved.
In that classic bed scene, MEW talked about the terrible feeling of loneliness in large sections, TONG lying on the side, his eyes full of love, every word, listening quietly, and finally with a kind call, stretched out his arms, Let MEW lean on his shoulder.
