The film consists of two parts. The male protagonist, Ham Chunsu, is a film director. He met the female artist Yoon Heejung by chance. The two gradually distanced themselves through coffee and sushi dinner. When Yoon Heejung learned that Ham Chunsu was married, he was very disappointed and sad. The second part presents a common story with a subtly different ending. Hong Sang-soo, a Korean independent film director who has won numerous awards at international film festivals such as Tokyo, Cannes, and Locarno, is famous for his unique literary style in the world. "Right Now, Wrong Then" won the Locarno International Film Festival Golden Leopard Award, Best Actor, Best Judge's Recommendation and other awards in one fell swoop this year.
