The second season of Prison Break has almost nothing to do with the first season except for the time coherence.
Looking back on the story of the first season, it seems like a distant place.
Characters with different hearts conspire in secret for a common purpose.
When freedom finally came, their destiny became independent and more fragile and precarious.

The first person to fall was John Abruzzi. Originally, he could have the happiness that no one else can match:
the background of a gang leader, a family with two children, and a life of worry-free food and clothing,
but he was killed by a gunshot because of paranoia.
But maybe because he didn't need to escape from the pursuit, the
screenwriter made it difficult for him to add to the plot and died as soon as he went out.

The second is the thief classmate. His death is also surprising,
because the second season has just begun, and the audience has not yet adapted to such a short ending of characters.
Moreover, it was only after he showed his sincerity and loyalty that
everyone's goodwill towards him was magnified because of this sudden death, and
it was only then that they realized that such a cowardly little person also has lovely and shining qualities.

There are more episodes between the third cornered man and the death of the thief classmate.
That is the genius patient-Van Gogh, perhaps this title has already doomed his fate:
artistic name, neurotic thinking, and finally a similar ending.
Van Gogh's clue has nothing to do with the central plot of the story.
Since he was dumped, he has been away from other people's lives
until he finally jumped off the tower to his death.

The fourth figure to disappear is the black officer C-Note.
Fleeing for his family, he killed his family because of the escape, and finally returned to prison because of his family, and even sacrificed himself.
Overall, C-Note is still a kind person, but he is also a bit selfish,
He did things like betraying friends and getting something for nothing,
but in the end he gave up his escape to help the waitress in the fast food restaurant, which
somewhat maintained his righteous image.
At the end of episode 18 he got into the ropes of suicide, which made me a little sad.
Although I don't like this character, I still sigh for his ending.
Does the screenwriter just want to let people who are not smart enough and who are not close enough to the protagonist die?
Still expecting a turnaround in the new episode, even knowing that he can't contribute much more.

The person who is still on the run so far:

Love Love Secure. He should be much luckier than the others.
He left the United States without any risk, and met many nobles to help him along the way, and finally found his girlfriend.
No injuries, no death, no betrayal.
Maybe it's because his kindness and sincerity helped him get good luck,
maybe because his friendship with MS helped him save the day.
The entire experience of Secure is a bowl of chicken soup for the soul,
adding a touch of emotional spice to the thrilling storyline.
Hope that Bellick's intervention will not change his ending,
is it an extravagant hope for him to continue to be happy?

Sad T-bag. Of all the people, T-bag is the most cruel and hurts countless people.
But he is also the most miserable. Not just because of the crippled hand,
and the experience of being beaten repeatedly when he failed.
It was because he was the loneliest and could not have any kind of emotion.

The two MS brothers support each other, one has a beautiful face, the other has a son to think about;
Secure's girlfriend escaped marriage and gave birth to a child for him;
C-Note's wife would rather go to jail than betray the child's father;
Abruzzi has a shared family, a thief classmate meets a girl who admires him;
even Van Gogh has a puppy who lives with him.
Only this man with hundreds of millions of dollars has nothing emotionally.

He struggled to find the woman he cared about the most and her children, in
an attempt to get a little love, but his hope was ruthlessly dashed in the end.
The scene where he threw away his phone and burst into tears may be his most real release.
Unexpectedly, T-bag, who is so cruel, can actually love her and let go of her kindness.

T-bag is evil, and calm and witty, with this exclusive huge sum of money, escaped.
But his ferocity determined his fate that he could not end well.

In the end, it should be the MS brothers.
Some people say that MS was reduced to a supporting role in the second season, then Lincoln became a supporting role of the supporting role.
His appearance seems to be just a foil for MS, first of all how the brothers went through hardships to pursue the truth.
Apart from hitting, running, and shooting, he has no other display space.

MS doesn't seem to be as smart as the first season in the second season,
because there is a more predictable agent Mathone than him.
A few rounds of wits have been matched by the two of them.
But in the end, let's let our hero win.
After all, people have been upside down for so long, and their efforts should also pay off.

MS and Sara are finally together. They have
gone through the test of life and death, the verification of truth and falsehood, the game of temptation, and
the feelings of the East going around and wanting to leave the cocoon finally broke out,
but it also made the audience less expecting.

Finally, imagine a Chinese-style ending.
Everyone who escaped from the prison was captured and returned to the prison.
Although the MS brothers were rehabilitated, they died in the siege of T-bag.
In this way, bad people still get what they deserve,
and good people who have done wrong can offset their mistakes because of meritorious deeds, and maintain a glorious image.
Reference example: The movie "A World Without Thieves".

No matter what style of ending, as long as it is reasonable, everyone will recognize it. Who made us follow the trend for so long?

Manhunt quotes

  • Michael Scofield: Originally this was supposed to be a week's worth of clothes for me and Linc. But, uh, I figured you all need just as much help as we do, so...

John Abruzzi: You're just doing this out of the goodness of your heart, Fish?

Michael Scofield: [slapping clothes into Abruzzi's arms] That's right, John. The heart. You remember what that is, don't you?

  • Mr. Ives: Schweitzer was the plumbing company that made the toilet Scofield took off to get out of his cell. Allen bolt was the fitting.
