I thought the two sections in Northwest China and Tibet were redundant, so why not delete them to leave more space for the audience? Bathing has different meanings for different people. The film borrows the bathhouse, a place of memory belonging to the previous generation, to show the transformation of the father-son relationship, the end and rebirth of life, and the change of times. It's a fairly decent movie, but the scene where my father and Erming and the two brothers wash the pool behind them impressed me deeply. Like the heaven in Journey to the West, it makes people dreamy and immersed in it. This is life, and the dullness is mixed with the wonderful.
