But unlike Ang Lee's emphasis on people's emotions, Zhang Yang focuses on expressing the general environment of social changes. People should be restrained and calm like the expressions of Lao Liu, Daming and Er Ming. But this movie is not all realistic style. Except for the slightly abrupt two paragraphs in Shaanxi and Tibet that are inserted rigidly, there are many magical elements inserted in the movie, such as "My Sun", which can only be sung when bathing. The honest Miao Zhuang married a charming wife with heavy makeup, a modern bath machine at the beginning, etc. In short, the details are full of astonishing, after all, there are five big screenwriters.
