The setting is very ambitious, and it was originally a drama that I was looking forward to. It's a pity that I watched a few episodes and found that this is the first episode that made me feel deeply and understand what a Marisu drama is. The male and female protagonists don’t know if it’s because they don’t have a sense of CP. In the first episode, the childhood sweethearts that I recalled repeatedly did not have a particularly affectionate feeling, but instead felt that it was repetitive and cumbersome. Seeing the fifth episode, the two people don’t seem to be in love either. Maybe the screenwriter wants to express affection, but when I look at it, it feels like a well-designed routine.
The same feeling is also on the branch line of the witch hunter and the witch lady. I feel that all the settings, storms, shipwreck, and the snow-capped mountains are all for the two of them to fall in love. Although this pair of looks is good, but I feel that the love brain is too powerful, and the lines are a bit strange.
And the sudden feelings between the dark master and the heroine, and then the heroine believed the words of the dark master's mother and fled again. There is also a logical problem with the behavior of the dark master's mother. Since the son is so terrible, she has always wanted to stop it. Why did she train the heroine so hard in front? There is no preparation before, suddenly telling the heroine that he is the big devil, how can the heroine who is still in love believe it?
So, judging from the plot I've seen so far, I don't know whether the original book itself is a story of love and youth in a magical skin, or whether it is a problem with the adaptation of the screenwriter. Generally speaking, more disappointed? Such a grand setting tells a simple and brainless love story. The face value of the dark master can't be saved. But maybe I will finish reading it, I don't know if it will make a difference later, I still look forward to it.
