I only went after watching it with high scores. I was very disappointed after watching it. Except for the special effects, everything else ruined my good memories of Journey to the West and Sun Wukong. In harsh words, it tarnishes the classics. It may be influenced by Western movies, and the disgusting scenes in the movie have appeared many times. Such as the image of monsters, snot, saliva, nose picking, etc. I don't know why people like to render these disgusting things. The story is even more pale, it is just frantically beat up, messy, without aesthetics, and the dialogue is abrupt and unintelligible.
