Very sad, so I can't stand it

It is definitely a movie worth watching. Its richness, compactness, profoundness and broadness definitely deserve the title of "movie". This is called a movie.

But I only watched it for less than ten minutes, and I can't watch it anymore. I dare not say how deeply and comprehensively I know about movies. I haven't seen the majority of classic movies. I haven't appreciated all of Spielberg's works, but I am very impressed with his traditional style. This film has been in the eyes for a long time, and I can see its thickness and excitement in less than ten minutes.

I didn't watch it because my mood changed. Among similar themes, I am deeply angry that none of them belong to China, and no one has the courage or ability to explain such an epic. I firmly believe that China has such a long history.

Let me persist in resentment towards my compatriots for two hours, and I will be short-lived. So, don't watch it.

Amistad quotes

Presidential Aide: I understand. I simply wasn't certain whether this is something you wanted to take care of personally.

Martin Van Buren: There are what? Three - four million negroes in this country? Why on earth should I concern myself with these 44?

  • Theodore Joadson: The ship is Amistad. It's too small to be a trans-Atlantic slaver.

Tappan: So, they're plantation slaves then. West Indians?

Theodore Joadson: Not necessarily. At least, they certainly don't look it. From the glimpse I caught of them on their way to jail. They have these - scars.

    Tappan: Scars?
