#MANIAC

Four and a half stars. A dream science fiction drama series combining retro and some brain-burning light comedies. The plot is so full and smooth that I can't believe this is a Netflix original series. The screenwriter’s brains are really big. Kerry Fuyong’s shooting approach is very interesting. It should be a tribute to a few movies and even political events, which can’t be said in detail. The reflections of reality in those dreams are absurd and reasonable. Sometimes I think it's a stream of consciousness, but it doesn't seem to be. In short, it's amazing to watch the 10 episodes. This is not the kind of drama that is very top-notch. It took me a long time to watch it. With the addition of characters, it becomes more and more exciting. Maybe because of dreams, I feel a little tired just watching it in front of the screen. , Even if the first two episodes are very boring, you have to look carefully and then always stop and think about what comes out. The acting skills of Sister Stone and Jonah Hill are nothing to say, they are not hysterical at all, and they are too comfortable to change the scene. It is recommended that other cast members of Netflix refer to their acting skills and those who think that Stone's acting skills are not good. Come take a look at this thank you. Mizuno Sonoa is amazing, with thick bangs glasses and a flat chested English accent. Doesn't the millennial sense come here? Generally speaking, it is about reconciliation with oneself, the story of healing trauma through the three stages of dreams, expressing some love and painful farewells, etc. Only by letting go of the shadow of the past can you accept your true future. (After reading it. The ending is so warm. I hope I can also get over the trauma of that six months earlier.)

Slightly looking forward to it. 2/10 progress, the confusion of the first episode is messy, the clarity of the second episode is getting better, the setting is good. 4/10 progress, the turning point of the third episode begins with the main topic, and the fourth episode returns to the style of American dramas, with a single episode narrative. 5/10 progress, I see some people feel that they are crazy, don't they feel good at all, the fifth episode has the feeling of interpretation of dreams, or psychological analysis based on Freud's theory. 10/10 progress, the sixth episode introduces the twist and turns episode, the seventh and eight episodes tell a story, the seventh episode is boring, and the second half of the eighth episode is amazing. After Owen's self-expectation was fulfilled, he still didn't want it. Nine episodes of Anne's being healed, ten episodes forward looking forward. The overall is good, the last two episodes are too routine to make people feel watery, but I can't deny that they are very heartwarming. Conjecture: Possibilities still in consciousness: There are some feelings, so it can't be called a romance drama. The director dares to spend an episode foreshadowing is also a great tool

The drug drama is not as good as "The Big Group". The overall temperament is neither dark nor psychedelic, and the stylization is not strong enough. Sister Stone is also hard carry.

James Mantleray: Once you begin to appreciate the, structure of the mind, there's no reason anything about us can't be changed. Pain can be destroyed. The mind can be solved.

[Owen slowly starts to clap, rest of group joins in]

  • [from trailer]

Dr. Greta Mantleray: How many of your subjects have ended up catatonic?

    James Mantleray: [arrogantly] Zero.

    [Dr. Fujita looks down]
