While watching the film, I felt very depressed. When these people who were once the mainstay of the society gradually grew old, their physical functions deteriorated, and they gradually became a burden to the society. They can no longer create value for society, become a drag on their families, can no longer even decide their own residence, and can no longer control their future destiny. Those who are truly miserable are those who are awake to see their own misery. The protagonist doesn't want to become a member of the attic, so he struggles with all his strength. Fortunately, the friendship of the old people supports the whole story. After reading the whole article, I can't help but think how to make the elderly grow old with dignity, and one day we will grow old too.
