This movie was the first time I saw Agatha Christie's work. I haven't read the book or the original 1974 movie, so I think it's a good one, please forgive those who have read the book and watched the original movie and complained about the movie.
The impression that Detective Poirot left me in this film is gloomy, thoughtful and not being discovered by others, but at the same time able to see through the hearts of others.
It is said that the character of Polo in the original book is constructed to be humorous, firm, free and easy, and lovable, but in this one, Polo appears vulnerable, hesitant, and struggling when praying, arguing, and finally lying to the police. The difference in the construction of Polo's characters is what makes everyone dissatisfied with the film the most.
