I finally found time to watch it yesterday. Before watching, my friend told me that the filming was good, but I felt that something deeper could be explored. I didn't watch it at the time, so I didn't refute it, but I also knew that this was a domestic film with a good reputation.
After watching it, it is indeed, like a friend said, it is not a movie that can have a lot of deep things to delve into. However, I think this film was originally an adaptation of a true story. I wanted to tell the Chinese people how many sacrifices our military and police have made in order to combat drug dealers and defend the lives and property of the Chinese people. How many police officers have sacrificed their lives to defend justice and truth?
I think what the film wants to express is expressed directly, which does not need to be conveyed through any deep metaphor. Sometimes it's straight-forward to get straight to the heart. What does it matter if there is nothing deeper?
