It is not easy for a domestic drama to make the shooting scene so exciting and the plot is compact. However, Director Lin is a Hong Kong director. Although he has to play the main theme of the archway, it is no wonder that it is so exciting. After all, gunfighting gangs are Hong Kong Film's old business. Some female audience members were so frightened that they reminded me that this is because the cinema has not seen gangster films like Hong Kong for too many years. Mainland audiences have not enjoyed this kind of visual stimulation in the cinema for a long time.
The movie is good, but it can't help but feel sad. If every time you have to use the central idea of the main theme to shoot drugs, guns, etc., then those alternative pluralistic ideas will never see the light of day, at least not in this era.
