I remember that when I was a kid, movies were divided into categories, dramas are dramas, and action movies are action movies.
Such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan's early films, the story structure is simple, basically save people or revenge, and then a hearty fight, the bad guy dies and it ends directly.
Later, this kind of film was collectively called: Popcorn Film. The vast majority of blockbusters in history are popcorn movies.
When the 007 series was successful in Europe and the United States, Jackie Chan also made a similar attempt, the Asian Eagle series, but unfortunately only two films were made: Dragon Brother and Tiger Brother, and the Eagle Project. After that, it stopped, and it was not until 2012 that the third film: Zodiac was filmed.
We never stopped in building Chinese superheroes, but most of them died prematurely. As far as this film is concerned, whether it is the scene, the special effects, the cast lineup is first-class. The same type of American film The Expendables series has now made 4 films.
Let's make an analogy, there is no substantial difference between this film and the 007 series, Marvel movies. After 100 episodes of 007, some people will watch it, and we will be scolded for making one, so the reason why there are no superheroes in domestic films is obvious, and the audience's tolerance is not enough.
If someone says that copying someone else's model is not good, then the suit and leather shoes on your body, the fast food burger in your mouth, the computer and mobile phone at hand, the plane and the car you take are not imported. A hundred years ago, our ancestors understood this truth during the Westernization Movement. It is shameful to follow, but it is shameful that you did not.
