It took two days to finally finish reading the two parts of Parasitic Beast after dinner. Personally, I think it is quite educational, although it is a bit bloody.
In fact, I noticed this movie a long time ago. At that time, I saw a lot of movie clips on Weibo. I was deeply shocked by the clip of Shimada hunting students in the classroom, and I downloaded the movie because of the excitement. The visual effects of the movie are really perfect! All parasitic beasts look real after transformation! And this was shot in 2016, and we don't have such perfect special effects now. The overall rhythm is very tight. Not much nonsense. Ten minutes before the opening of the film, the parasitic parasitic and the familiar environment of the familiar environment are over, and there is no procrastination or appetite. But I especially don't like the passionate scene between Shinichi and the girl at the nuclear power plant. I feel that this scene is a bit inexplicable and ruins the atmosphere.
Because Xiaoyou is so cute, I really like it, so let's talk about it first! Xiaoyou is very smart, as smart as Tamiya-sensei, and can think. Like other parasites, it has a strong learning ability. It has just grown on the male protagonist and has mastered many skills such as Japanese and computers. It is also the existence of Xiaoyou that the male protagonist keeps growing. The parasitic beast gives the audience a feeling of indifference and bloody cruelty. They have no expressions and no emotions, but the existence of Xiaoyou and Tamiya teacher broke the audience's stereotype of parasitic beasts (of course, they are just an example). Both Xiaoyou and Tamiya-sensei have inherited the characteristics or advantages of human beings in their mouths - sacrifice their lives for justice. Humans are no longer afraid of anything after losing what is important to them. After losing his daughter, the reporter dared to directly break into the gathering place of parasitic beasts to steal the baby for revenge. Xinyi has nothing to fear after losing his mother. The parasitic beast Xiaoyou will also give up his life for its host, Shinichi, and Tamiya teacher does not hesitate to reveal his identity for his daughter. It is these qualities of them that make us realize that not only humans, but such tiny parasites on earth can have their own emotions. In the first part, Xiaoyou helped Xinyi a lot - it healed Xinyi's damaged heart, helped him deal with the parasitic beast that was parasitic on his mother, and always replaced Xinyi when he was in danger. He stepped forward and did not give up Shinichi even under the temptation of other parasitic beasts and was still willing to fight side by side with him.
The most thoughtful image in this film is Mr. Tamiya. She is like a philosopher, she sees everything clearly. She understands almost all the characteristics of human beings, and she knows that the predatory behavior of parasitic beasts on human beings will arouse strong resentment in human beings - not only because human beings will be hurt, but more importantly, things that humans cherish will be hurt. Under the influence of the second factor, even unarmed humans can become incredibly powerful. Tamiya-sensei is also one of the few creatures who has feelings after parasitism, and it is her daughter who makes her feel this feeling. There is a very important core in the two films of Parasitic Beast - mother's love. Females are weak, but mothers are strong. Even though Shinichi's mother became a parasitic beast, she still tried her best to control her thoughts. When Shinichi's life was hanging by a thread, her mother appeared, and her mother blocked the parasitic beast's tentacles with her hands. As Shinichi said, every time is a mother. When I was a child, I was about to get burned by my mother's hand. When I grew up, even if my mother basically lost consciousness, she was still the one who saved Shinichi. The same goes for Tamiya-sensei. For the first time, Mr. Tamiya experienced the feeling of a smile in front of this baby. Although it was still a bit ferocious and a little unnatural, it was indeed a feeling from the bottom of my heart. The scene where Mr. Tamiya saves his child in the second half of the film is even more moving.
The film also has a deep exposure to human nature. I think the most ironic scene is the scene where the mayor is killed and it turns out to be human. I still remember that Pu Shang once said a sentence in the police station (I can't remember exactly, but it seems that even beasts have the ability to distinguish their own kind). In this way, humans seem to be inferior to even beasts. The key is that after the death of the mayor, the officer actually said: It does not hinder the progress of the plan. In fact, whether it is the human mayor, Xiaoyou, or Tamiya-sensei, they all understand that human beings may be real demons. Parasitic beasts kill only for food, not for any other purpose, and they only eat this kind of thing. But what about people? People not only eat chicken, duck, fish, but also bear paw, abalone, pangolin... Humans are the group of people standing at the top of the food chain. Not only that, they also destroy the environment and seriously damage the ecosystem. Some of them cannibalize each other and forget about profit and justice... As Tamiya teacher said, parasitic beasts are not scary, and they are very vulnerable in front of humans. I remembered what my dad once said to me, that is, don't always say who is a good person and who is a bad person. The difference between good and bad is not so clear at all. The right and wrong between parasitic beasts and humans cannot be judged and need not be judged at all. In fact, I have always liked to watch this kind of movie where humans fight side by side with other creatures on the earth, similar to movies like behemoths. There really is a feeling of interdependence between Xiaoyou and Xinyi, and it is this spirit of coexistence that is worthy of our understanding and experience!
