——"Dark Country" film critic, what can I ask for in my
life ?
This is a really wonderful film that I have seen. In fact, the director did not say the ending of the film, but arranged for you and me to be the detectives of the film to find out the truth of the case. That's what makes the film so appealing.
The first thing I am sure of is: the movie scenes are real events from beginning to end, no time travel, no hallucinations. Everything that happens in the film is real, not an illusion. In particular, all the voices made (including speaking voices) are real voices, except for the illusion caused by a little schizophrenia of the male protagonist.
The whole film is a murder case, the heroine is killed, there are other people, the question is: who is the murderer?
1. Is the protagonist a murderer?
The male protagonist has dual schizophrenia. The previous comments show that everyone agrees. Here I call this person AB because he has dual personalities, namely A and B roles. Are they murderers?
Answer: No. Neither A nor B are murderers!
Both A and B are in love with Ginna, how did they become killers? If you look at it again from beginning to end, you will see this, very clearly. What is shown in the film is: A thinks B is the murderer, B thinks A is the murderer, in fact, neither A nor B is the murderer. AB doesn't know the truth until he dies.
So what is Ginna afraid of? This is the most brilliant part of the film. You can see it from the beginning. The acting skills of the actors are superb, which is wonderful: what Ginna is afraid of is the dual character of AB! Fear of this psychosis.
Ginna has been dealing with AB psychosis since the onset of this psychosis and was terrified of him. The evidence is as follows:
(1) That B character does not exist! The B in the middle of the back seat does not exist, which can be proved: in the perspective other than A, such as the rear mirror and the rear window of the car, we can see that B does not exist, but AB is talking to itself, which makes Ginna terrified.
(2) Ginna pretended to lift B's body because she was afraid of A.
(3) Ginna said just put the corpse in the car, we continue our honeymoon trip, just treat him as a travel companion, the corpse is fine. In a word, this corpse does not exist, Ginna is not afraid of this corpse at all, but is perfunctory AB.
(4) When Ginna buried the corpse, the pit was small. Ginna said that it was enough to cut off the head. Why did she say that? Because the corpse doesn't even exist.
(5) At the final rest stop, Ginna is going to leave AB, AB said you are going to report, we are all finished, Ginna said: We are finished now, what is finished? What's the meaning? That is, Ginna is going to leave AB, and there is an Over between the two of us. In the conversation here, the two of them are not talking about the same thing at all. Ginna cried for marrying such a mentally ill person.
So far, nothing has happened.
2. Who is the murderer?
If you ask who the murderer is, you must first know who the victim is and how many victims there are. This question is very important.
The film begins with a missing poster in the bar: a blonde beauty, there are multiple posters of missing persons at the rest stop, including a pair of men and women, note: not only women are missing, but also men (this is also evidence to rule out AB as the murderer) ! In the end, the detective revealed the unsolved part of the entire murder case, which is also the climax of the film, the most brilliant point of the director, and the most suspenseful part of the film: "Where are the missing men?"
To solve the case To find doubts.
(1) AB's watch, where is AB's watch lost? When was it lost?
Watch the video: After digging the hole, AB wears the watch, asks Ginna to bury the hole, turns back to the car, and drinks water. Clearly, there was no watch on his left wrist, it was lost at this time and Ginna was not dead. This is another important proof that AB is not the murderer of Ginna.
(2) Where is the burial place?
The pit dug by AB is Ginna's burial place! When the film dug the pit at AB and when Ginna's body was later dug up, there was a mountain in the background with very prominent features, which were exactly the same. So AB's watch is also here.
(3) Ginna's gun
doesn't exist.
Looking closely, it is actually a mobile phone, which is AB's illusion. Why did Ginna admit to having a gun in the car? That is to perfunctory this mental illness. Imagine a weak woman in a desolate desert with a mentally ill sitting next to you. What would you do? (notice Ginna's expression)
So what's up with the gunshots?
Ginna doesn't have a gun, so where did the gunshot come from? This is definitely not AB's illusion, it's a real thing, AB can't hear it wrong, there is indeed a gunshot. Whose gunshot? who has a gun?
(4) The most important point: Who is the murderer?
Answer: Sheriff!
(1) The sheriff is not married, he hates those women, and said to AB in the car
(2) The sheriff has a gun
(3) When the sheriff was approaching the rest stop in the car, the sheriff also said: There is only one chewing gum left . Why do you say that? Director got water in his head? When I see this, I can't understand it... Every word of the other people in the film is carefully crafted by the director, and will not put meaningless words here!
After thinking about it for a night, I finally understood what the sheriff meant: only you AB is left with a chewing gum, and if you eat you, everything will be gone! So I ate the chewing gum and locked the door before getting out of the car...
At this point, the truth came out!
The detective's last words told us that the case was not solved.
In the end, AB ran away, overturned, and got into the car of AB and Ginna. These are all AB's illusions. I don't know if AB's life or death after the car rolls over, it is also AB's soul out of the body. In short, AB doesn't know the truth of the matter until death. .
Only you and I, looking forward to you and me, restore the truth of this tragic ending.
Beautiful and tragic Ginna!
Painful and poor AB!
