"Silk" has always been one of my favorite legal dramas I've seen, no one. Not only the quality of the British drama, but also the impeccable content of cases and laws in this drama, but also the cruelty of reality, the complexity of the problems, and the role of the characters in the drama in each episode of each season. The reason why a classic can become a classic is that every time you brush it, the perception is different. This time, in the first episode of the first season, what caught my eye was the belief that martha showed right from the start.

When martha looked at the stolen victim's badge, she knew the truth. But as she told nick when she saw the figure of the beaten old man in the court hall, what if the client was a big villain but he did win the judicial process (then he was innocent), these two things not conflict. This is the rule of the legal process, there is no black and white and good and evil, only evidence, defense and trial series of procedures and the resulting legal results. In the 15 years since Martha became a lawyer, her belief in those four words was straight to the point in the first episode.
