Talking about "Dragon King of Shendu"

I wanted to go deeper and write my cooking experience with more patience and less exaggeration. Nai He was driven by a strange force in his heart, so he took out a bit of leisure time and tried his best to analyze this new work directed by Tsui Hark, "The Dragon King of Di Renjie".
I don't know why I missed Di Renjie's first movie. I watched it on CCAV6, but I couldn't see any taste. I don't know when I marked "Di Renjie's God of Dragon King", but it was just because of fate that the author downloaded the first movie. I watched "Di Renjie: The Empire of Heaven" on the eve of the movie, to weigh the differences between the two films, or to say progress.
Director Tsui Hark is now 62 years old, but he is still a pioneer of domestic special effects films, and he is well-deserved. In the early years, "Best Partner", "A Chinese Ghost Story", "Green Snake", "Shushan" and other films have been seen. The director introduced Hollywood special effects into China. Today, it can be seen that the special effects of domestic blockbusters can be evenly matched with Hollywood. Although many special effects are made by foreign studios, it can be seen from his 30 years of filming that he has brought great progress in Chinese film special effects. .
Di Renjie, the author has never caught a cold with these three words, because Di Renjie in the TV series I watched earlier is a soft-footed chicken who only knows reasoning and does not know martial arts, and the image is also a middle-aged uncle. However, in Director Xu's film, Di Renjie recreated his brand and transformed himself into a handsome and handsome brother who is full of both civil and military skills, which reminds the author of the re-creation of the Three Kingdoms in the "Three Kingdoms Warriors" series. In this step, Director Xu Well done. In the first step, Director Xu handed it over to Andy, and in the second step, it was handed over to the popular young student Zhao Youting. In the author's opinion, compared with Andy, Zhao Youting's acting skills seem to be far behind, especially "You are crazy!" in "To Youth", but Director Xu gave an official reason: If Andy Lau could be ten years younger If so, I'll let him play. Simply, Zhao Youting did not disappoint.
The film tells the story of Di Renjie's first entry into Dali before "Empire of Tongtian". Because of the trouble of the Dragon King, Wu Zetian sent a minister to investigate the case. Di Renjie entered the case investigation by accident and started a magical journey. The first work "Empire of Tongtian" was criticized for its lack of human taste. Except for the tower, it gave very little account of the overall environment, or did not explain enough about the prosperous scene at that time. Director Xu recognized the problem and intended to use it in the film. Began to add a lot of plot settings to highlight the current environment. But the story is too huge, how can 133 minutes be enough to explain? On the way, unnecessary descriptions of the environment are discarded, and it becomes a situation where the story takes place from one scene to another. The character arc is not obvious, or it should be a film of Di Renjie's growth, but here, except for the water, the other elements are missing, which is a pity. I don't know if this series will continue to develop the third part of these two parts. I hope to see a better storyline in the third part.
In terms of special effects design, the author has experienced the first underwater 3D film in China. Its water level and authenticity are not as good as those of "Titanic 3D" and "Youth Pie", but the water scenes and fluid effects are also flawless. Except for the water play, the main scene in this movie, King Ao, is enough to make people addicted to the eyes. I thought the film would cut corners and only hear the sound and not see the shadow, but I didn't expect to see the whole of King Ao in the end. There is a visual sense of "Monster Hunter", but it is still an excellent CG animation special effect after all. Just like every episode of "Harry Potter" introduces some magical monsters, every "Di Renjie" also needs to create some strange insects and monsters from "Shan Hai Jing" to enrich the content of the story. This design method, the author I like it very much.
In the end, I didn't have much to say. To summarize my style of film criticism, it is basically a combination of Zhen Huan and Mandarin. I will try something new next time. In the end, there are two points about the plot: one is the line: the tea the nobles in the palace drink is raised with human flesh. Really full of irony. The other is the final ending. If you don't want to read the spoiler, just read it here and don't read it. . . . . . .
That is, whether you are an official or a medical student, in the end, Bai Fumei still likes Gao Fushuai with a little literary flavor.
