In the blink of an eye, it was a year ago that I went to the cinema to watch "The Killing of Munich". Since then, I have fallen in love with this movie deeply. I also used the machine to get a deeper understanding of some of the information about the film’s release in Russia in 2017, as well as the historical facts and past events of the film’s story prototypes, and even went to learn about some Soviet Russia’s history and culture.

I originally planned to write some personal thoughts on the first anniversary of its release to commemorate my unforgettable memory, but I didn't expect that station B just introduced the genuine version at this time. So I swiped the mainland theatrical version again. Compared with the version released in Russia, it has less than ten minutes of content. When the film was released in the mainland, according to what I saw, it was because of the subject matter and language, and in order to get more films, the film was compressed to 2 hours. But judging from the comparison of the version released in Russia after the fact, I have to say that some of the deleted plots still have a great impact on the development and integrity of the story. When I watched the bullet screen, I also found some content that I didn’t understand or understood incorrectly, so as a drop of tap water for this film, before commenting on the story, I would like to use my own memories to summarize some of the more important deletions. . The following summary contains spoilers, it is incomplete and not objective, and the memory may not be completely accurate. Interested friends can just watch it:

1. The first game that Garland took office as coach, after winning the Essen Basketball Championship, when celebrating in the locker room, No. 14 Sasha found Garland alone, hugged him, and thanked him for electing himself to the national team , Galanren said to Sasha: "You are like my son, what can I do without you." If we combine the details of the film, we can know that Galanren was originally the head coach of the Spartak team , and Sasha was wearing a Spartak uniform when Gomelski left office, that is, Sasha is a direct descendant of Garland, which echoes the No. 5 Pauluskas vs No. 10 in Essen games. Sergey said that Galanren started to use only his own people when he became a coach, echoing Sasha’s sentence “You can’t play without me” when Galanren informed Sasha of his illness, and also echoes the Munich final. Before, when Galanzhin's son Shula called across the ocean to encourage his father, Galanzhin looked back at Sasha when he apologized to his own son.

2. After the press conference of the basketball championship, the whole team's story in the tavern was partially cut. The more important ones are ① Ivan No. 9 and Sasha No. 14 walked to Sergey No. 10 to make a friendly gesture and talk to him. He gave a gift and expressed his honor to play with him, but Sergey said he was not happy about it, and did not give face to the two newcomers who were chosen by Garland; ② Coach Garland Rentong team leader Grisha said that the players have Opportunity, they are in good shape now, although some people's careers will be short, some people have injured their knees, some people may be ready to leave - it can be seen here that Galanzin knows the state of the players, It also echoes the "four years later" when the team leader was about to give up the game before the Munich final. It was actually impossible. The boys can't wait for four years. He had a dispute with No. 14 Sasha, who accidentally interrupted him when he was singing songs in his native Lithuania. No. 10 Sergey and No. 11 Mishko persuaded them to let them go. Pauluskas told Sergey that he was Feeling that the Lithuanians were being ostracized, that he was being watched and harassed, but this did not point to Sergey, who, Pauluskas thought, was different, his friend, but that he was suffocated by such an environment; 4 Sergey did not return to the tavern, but left by running and exercising alone. He ran happily until it got dark, and did jumping training. The street lights came on in front of him one after another, as if to symbolize A brighter future.

3. Returning to China from Essen, ① When going through customs, when the border inspector found the Bible in Sergey's suitcase on No. 10, Sergey was asked: "You are the secretary of the Communist Party, why do you want to buy a Bible? Sergey asked back: "Is there anything in the Bible that is anti-communism?" Here we know the status of the team's ace Sergey in the team, and why the No. 5 Pauluskas is the captain, but in the At Essen's press conference, Sergey was present with the team leader coach; ②The border inspector found an instrument in the bag of the team doctor Sheva. Sheva explained that it was a tonometer, and it seemed that the team doctor was very It is convenient to carry all kinds of equipment. To a certain extent, this also implies the identity of the KGB after Sheva; ③When the team members ran to the bus in the rain, Pauluskas No. Someone guessed whether someone had reported the whistleblower. Pauluskas immediately pointed to Sergey No. 10 and asked him what he had prayed to the Bible to prevent him from being checked. He questioned why only Sergey and coach Garland had no foreign goods in their bags. , on the 14th, Sasha interjected to ask if Pauluskas was also informed in Lithuania. Pauluskas countered, "Never, until you joined the team." At this time, Sergey got up to talk to Paulo. Scars fought and was stopped by Garland, who got into the car. The coach complained, "Whoever quarrels again will be kicked out of the team. I think you are more suitable to change the light bulb. You are tall enough to not even need a ladder." The place is the same as the tavern in Essen, where there are many team members' disagreements, as well as some dark lines of dissatisfaction from Pauluskas, which at the same time hint at the atmosphere at that time.

4. When returning to China from Essen and reporting to the leader, the leader scolded the team leader Grisha and the league secretary Sergey to go out, then closed the door and accused Garland as the head coach for failing to manage the mistakes made by the players (smuggling) , and took out a stack of files (that is, the ones the leaders threw into the wastebasket after the initial loss in the Munich final), turned to the file of No. 5 Pauluskas, and pointed out that he was an anti-Soviet rightist, in West Germany has relatives and is likely to defect by taking the opportunity of the Olympics. Galanren said that in order to prepare for the Munich Olympics, he needs Pauluskas.

5. When Garland left the leader, it was already dark. He was in front of the office building with the team leader Grisha and No. 10 Sergey. While banging on the broken water dispenser, he had a conversation with the two people. Galanzin understates that the leader trusts and supports him, Grisha expresses his disbelief and complains about Galanzin's big words, and Sergey helps Galanzin unscrew the water dispenser (all three were sprayed by the broken machine) Covered in water), and asked Galangin very gently, what's the next step? Galanzhin asked Sergey to go to the training ground at 9 o'clock the next day. In the past, Sergey trained in the way of the former coach, and from now on, he will follow his way to practice. This should be the first time that Garantin has received some kind of support after being poured cold water by his wife, his friend and the team leader. The relationship between him and the No. 10 ace Sergey has since turned around, and the audience can also see this. Out, as the best player, Sergey is actually looking forward to the Olympic champion of Garland. Since the press conference in Essen, after Garland released his rhetoric, he and Garland are almost the only ones. His son, Shura, never expressed doubts about the goal from start to finish.

6. During the American competition, after Sasha fell ill, the American doctor told that there is a view that exercise can prolong the life of the patient, but there is also a contrary view. After learning about Sasha's condition, coach Garland called his wife and told his wife that Sasha was ill and asked her to take out the family's money, and he would think of a way to deal with his son Shula. We know that the wife did not support the coach's harsh words before, but from the back story, the wife supported the coach's decision to save Sasha first. The family is the backing that the coach can do everything he can do for the team.

7. After returning from the game in the United States, when Mishko tried to talk to Galanzin, Galanzin was called away by the team leader Grisha. Here, the photos of Grisha holding a few Pauloskas were deleted to inform Galanzin. Lan Ren's superiors had captured Paulos Kass contacting his relatives and met with people from the European Union. For this near-conclusive "criminal evidence", Galan Ren asked Grisha to pretend that he did not find him, and temporarily protected him again. No. 5 Paulus Kas. This also paved the way for Pauluskas's near-defection in the Olympic Village, because the two clues to this incident were deleted, which made it difficult for some viewers to understand that before the final, the team doctor Sheva told Sergey Praise Galang Ren for being a good guy, and the part where the coach told Pauluskas to leave quickly, and then Pauluskas was getting ready to leave in the car.

8. After Galanren received the application for leaving the team for No. 11 Misiko, he called No. 6 Zurab, who was also a Georgian, to inquire about the situation. Only then did he know that Misiko was going to attend his sister's wedding and went to the airport.

9. In the Georgian plot, there are several deletions, the more important one is that Misiko's uncle (the old man who toasted Garan at the wedding) asked Misiko to bring a bottle of wine at the Munich Olympics. Brought to my brother who coaches the Israeli wrestling team. Mihiko was very embarrassed, saying that Munich is very big, and it is difficult for him to find people. The old man said wisely, "A Georgian always has a way to find another Georgian." The reason why Shiko and Zurab asked Garland to take time off to go to the Israeli athlete's resting place.

10. When Mishko and Zurabuzhen went to their relatives in Israel, they had a language barrier with the English-speaking lady at the front desk, and finally sang a Georgian song, which made the front desk sister immediately understand who they were looking for. This young lady is the one who has been cheering for the U.S. team in the finals, but when she saw Zurab's injury, she couldn't bear to defect and said to the people around her, "You don't know how good he sings."

11. When the team leader Grisha thought of the idea of retire and comforted Garland as coach to come back in four years, he confessed that after the Essen game, the person who smuggled the team to customs was the team leader himself. My personal understanding is that Because Garland, who he personally recommended, said that in the press conference, he made a precautionary cut with Garland and the entire team by reporting to avoid being over-reported in future losses to the United States. Severely held accountable, that is, what he said, "When people can't afford to lose, they will work hard." So far, the truth about the smuggling was revealed by the customs, which directly led to the coach's children being refused to go abroad for treatment because of the team's smuggling stains, and the team leader's proposal to retire from the game also took away the goal of the coach who has always worked hard for it. The deepest knife was stabbed by a friend himself, so the team leader asked the coach if he forgave him, and the coach couldn't help calling him "beast", but he didn't mention personal matters, just complained about the dreams of the players being deprived of .

12. Before the final in Munich, when the Soviet players were watching the news of the terrorist attack on TV, they heard the familiar voice downstairs. Everyone happily welcomed back the intact Mishko and Zurab, the Georgia duo. It was explained that they went out to play for a night after the wine was delivered, and they were not kidnapped by terrorists. This was deleted and some viewers did not understand when the two came back.

I can think of so many more important deletions. After adding them in, the logic and clues of this story should be more complete. Just looking at some inconsistencies and incomprehensibility in the domestic theater version should be smooth. .

Then, after completing the whole story, before expressing my feelings, I think it is necessary to mention a little bit about the big discrepancy between the adapted story and the historical facts. Most of this information comes from the textual research of other friends who like this film, Some of the information I read by myself, as well as from my relatives and friends who can speak Russian, are not necessarily accurate.

First of all, the character prototype of No. 5 Pauluskas never defected in those years, and after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the athlete will guide some Russian children to play basketball, because he still wants to hear people speak Russian . Paulus Kas himself participated in the direction of the film, and expressed his understanding of the artistic adaptation of the film, thinking that the story can make people interested in this history. He is indeed a broad-minded old gentleman.

Secondly, Sasha's deity, No. 14, was actually diagnosed with a heart problem a few years after the end of the Olympic Games, and died six years later. Before the 1972 Olympics, he did not know Alexandra, who would later become his wife. According to his interview, in the last three seconds of the final, he thought of his coach Kondrazin, and then calmed down. Come down, throw a lore shot.

Again, the prototype of Garland's coach in this film is Vladimir Petrovich Kondrazin, whose character is very different from the character in the film. His son Yuri suffers from cerebral palsy, The operation was done in the Soviet Union, and it was not as tortuous and financially difficult as in the film, and it was impossible to stand up after the operation like Shura at the end of the film. It is said that during the planning process of the film, it was once designed that Coach Garland would exchange foreign currency privately or even blackmail the players in order to treat the child, which led to protests and anger from the widow of the deceased coach Condrasin. , so the core character of this film did not use the name of the historical prototype, but changed it to Vladimir Petrovich Galanzhin. Personally, I am glad that these legendary plots of discrediting the coach did not appear in the film in the end, otherwise I probably would not have liked this film.

The fourth is the knee injury of No. 10 Sergey. Historically, his knee was not so troubled in 1972. According to Sergey's own autobiography "Up" ("The Killing of Munich" film It was also adapted from this autobiography), two years after the Munich Olympics, Sergey fell into a low point in his career due to insomnia, knee injuries and family discord. At this time, he especially thanked Coach Kondrazin for helping him , made a separate training plan for him, insisted on selecting him into the national team when he was in poor condition, and took him to the 1974 World Basketball Championship, and he went abroad to play in San Juan this time. During this period, he found a cure for knee injuries and regained his confidence and state until he retired in 1981.

The fifth is the short-sighted No. 7 Zal. The historical prototype is only mild myopia of about 200 degrees, and does not need to wear contact lenses. Moreover, the Soviet Union is the first country in the world to invent contact lenses. It is not as the film said. It was foreign technology, the Soviet Union did not have it at that time.

In addition, there are many discrepancies that I won't list one by one. In short, I can only regard this film as a large-scale adaptation of a story based on historical facts, given how much I know the historical facts. If you compare it with history, then it has to be said that this film is quite a smear of the real sincere and united past of the Soviet Union.

As a foreign audience, I don't have too many special feelings for the historical past of the Soviet Union. After learning about these contents, I couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed, not only for these situations that existed in the adaptation of this film It should be said that if you read more Russian works and books after 1992, you will find that it is a matter of course to spare no effort to deny and discredit the Soviet Union in Russia in the past and present. More deeply, this general phenomenon may be able to explore some content of historical nihilism. I hold a critical point of view and do not agree with it, but I don’t have much theoretical ink, and I don’t think it is necessary to discuss it around a standard commercial film. Something so serious and profound, at least it's not the subject of my personal thoughts on this film.

So I personally interpret these adaptations as conflicting needs for storytelling. After all, this film is an adapted story, not a documentary. The story should have its ups and downs. I like this movie, and I just like it as a work that is out of the historical facts.

And one of the main reasons I personally like this story is because it is a story that is impossible to shoot in the context of Western culture. Usually I go to imax for popcorn blockbusters in Europe and America, but I don't think I'll ever see in a Hollywood movie that kind of narrative, characterization, and more importantly, the kind of personal willingness to give up self that it wants to show heroism and opportunity, and the will to be part of a collective, willing to be a cog, a part of a running machine. Even though this film has so much darkened the Soviet Union, it does not have the cohesion of demonizing collectivist values and the moving motivation it can inspire, acknowledging that there are some things that people are willing to believe in and try their best to surpass themselves , to spontaneously put yourself in the most suitable position in a group, work for a common goal without selfishness and resentment, and finally create a miracle.

I think it is this kind of spiritual power that made the former Soviet Union achieve the peerless legend of the iron torrent. , even if you don't want to go back to that era, how can you not miss the charm and brilliance it once created? Therefore, it is not surprising that such a film can win the film and television box office champion in Russia.

And the power of unity that this film advocates begins with the unity guided by Marxism-Leninism, as well as its inability to reconcile with the previous dynasties to smear its former socialist form. On another piece of land where he feasted on guests and saw his building collapsed, after the red flag was broken, the audience of another country who still did not give up similar flags and roads would naturally understand and agree with them a little more. With some complex feelings that are difficult to understand and identify.

Regarding the bureaucracy expressed in the film in a negative form, some ideological guidelines, and many factors that prevent professional people from doing professional things, I think in addition to Russian audiences themselves, I am afraid that Chinese audiences are the easiest to get. to its atmosphere and connotation. At the same time, although there are protagonists and supporting roles, the whole is a group portrait story. A work that shows collective feelings despite all difficulties is completely different from the mainstream Western narrative techniques and expression tendencies. It should also be like this in China and Russia. more resonating on the ground. More than 90% of the overseas box office of the film "The Killing of Munich" came from China, which probably confirms this.

Aside from such a subjective and vague theme, another factor that I like very much about this movie is that it has enough foreshadowing clues and characterizations. This film runs through the main line of the whole story. Coach Garland is my favorite character in this story. When I just watched the film, I also used the interaction between the coach and other players as a clue, and wrote down some My own viewing experience will be integrated into this note this time.

1. Among the interactions between the coach and the players, in my opinion the most representative and special is the one between him and the No. 10 ace Sergey.

The interaction between the coach and Sergey, from the initial Essen World Championship, Sergey did not listen to his command, thinking that the existing self and No. 5 Pauluskas played a good dual-core cooperation. At this time, Sergey was accustomed to shouldering the heavy responsibility of the team's scoring alone, and did not trust or care about other teammates except Pauluskas and the new coach.

And Sergey's attitude began to change at the press conference after the game. When Garland says his goal is to beat Team USA at the Munich Olympics, the film features a few close-ups of Sergey changing his position and looking at his new coach. In the subsequent pub celebrations and deleted clips, he changed his attitude of contradicting Garland during the game, and did not agree with Pauluskas' view that they must not be able to beat the US team, and began to help Garland to screw up. Turn on the water dispenser and ask about his training program.

After that, when the coach bumped into Sergey's extra training session before the start of the intercontinental game in Brazil, the only heart-to-heart conversation between them was triggered. Sergey still did not express his desire to win, and only said that the coach wanted to defeat American, when the coach asked Sergey if he believed in him (a goal that could win the United States), Sergey didn't answer directly, only said what his first coach said, "pass the ball to Sergey when you are in trouble, he knows What should I do?" No one can do this except him - the meaning behind these words, in my understanding, on the one hand, is that Sergey's personal ability is strong, that is, the backbone can score points, and on the other hand, it also shows that thanks Sergey has strong judgment on tactics and situations, echoing the confidence and strength behind his disobedience to the coach's words in previous games, and at the same time showing that he is a force that he can rely on. Afterwards, the coach couldn't carry Sergey's weight-bearing bag with both hands very much, which also shows how strict Sergey is usually self-demanding and enduring, and we all know why his knee hurt like this. Ace players also rely on efforts to surpass others.

In the final of the Intercontinental Tournament in Brazil, when both Sergey and Pauluskas, who the team usually relies on for victory, were unable to play, the results of the training that Garlanden had led the players before were initially shown. After the victory of this game, the coach and Sergey had a scene where they looked at each other and smiled. I thought that the ace player's heartfelt recognition of the new coach should start from here. At the same time, this may also make Sergey smile. Unloaded of some kind of burden, he is used to fighting alone, and Garland used the victory to say to him that other teammates can rely on him, and even if he is temporarily absent, the sky will not fall.

The three games to the United States are also worth pondering. Before the first game, after losing the street ball, the depressed players went to the bar to have fun. After receiving the news, Galanren came and went straight to ask Sergey why, and arranged for Sergey to help him lead the way. Going back to the other players, by this time, the coach and Ace were no longer fighting with each other or testing each other at the beginning. When the drunk Ivan threw the "big dart", Ace protected the coach without hesitation.

In the first demoralized game against the American college team, Garland intentionally did not give any guidance on the field. Sergey asked him for his opinion halfway, and also angrily asked the coaching role after the game. What? He was still rude, but from disapprovingly not listening to the coach's arrangement at first, to being angry at the coach's refusal to arrange it, it was obviously really fragrant.jpg.

In the second game, Sergey got the special medicine for injury reduction buff. Personally, this should be one of the biggest gains of this trip; in the third game, the whole team, eager to win, perfectly executed the buff. Lan Ren's tactics finally won an undisputed victory in Sasha's absence. From losing to street basketball to losing to college students and then to being able to win, the team's cooperation, technology, equipment, and confidence and morale have all been effectively improved, and the purpose of this training has been achieved.

After that, Sergey did not have any conflict with the coach until after the semi-finals of the Munich Olympics, when the team doctor Sheva told Sergey about the actions of Galanren to save Sasha and protect Pauluskas. Sergey, who originally insisted that the coach was just to win, fell into silence.

When Galanzhin did not shy away from Sergey and expressed to Pauluskas that he was willing to let the other party take the opportunity to leave, Sergey should look at Galanzhin in an unbelievable way, and perhaps he did not agree. Sergey, who had never expressed his attitude to Pauluskas, who had a relatively close relationship with him before, also persuaded Pauluskas not to leave for the first time, expressing his own importance to his teammates. When Pauluskas disapprovingly asked him, "When did they [teammates] become your brothers," Sergey's answer was candid, saying, "It's always been, it's just me." So What made Sergey understand his feelings for his teammates and be willing to express them frankly? I think the clue is already obvious, that should be the reminders and words and deeds that Garland has been coaching all along.

After that, when the team leader told the news of his retirement, he went against his previous style of being alone and stood up to cheer the whole team up, calling on everyone not to give up and fight for a chance to compete. Looking closely at his mobilization speech, he reminded his teammates what their coach Galanzin did and sacrificed. Only Galanzin believed that they could win. Of course, there will be no punishment for withdrawing from the game, but is this right? Have you explained yourself? Sergey here still did not express his desire to win, and the whole process was centered on Garland. I thought that at this time, the ace player should have been completely convinced by the coach.

During the finals, when Sergey understood the coach's arrangement, he also disagreed with the coach's replacement and communicated with the coach with his eyes, but from the beginning to the end, compared with the original Essen World Championships, he was completely used to it. The role that Garlanden envisioned fully cooperated with his teammates, and at the same time provokes the lead at critical moments, and is responsible for luring the enemy in the design of the lore. And at the beginning of the game, when Garland uttered exactly what the first coach of Sergey said, "Give the ball to Sergey when you are in trouble", we also saw that Coach Garland gave Xie the ball. Sergey's real recognition, and the intention to always take Sergey's words to heart.

Before the lore goal, when returning to the field, Sergey, who has always been alone, also publicly expressed his feelings for his teammates for the first time. Compared with his image and attitude at the beginning of the story, almost is unimaginable.

And after the whole game, everyone’s opinions were silently solicited, and it was Sergey who, on behalf of everyone, left the prize money to the children of Galanzhin for treatment. Just like the inspiring speech before the war, the once proud and independent ace player is now the unquestionable technical and spiritual core of the team. He is in sympathy with his teammates and gives full play to his role as the backbone of the League Party Secretary. Role, what he can improve in the story may not be the game, but the mood and cognition.

It should be said that the No. 10 ace Sergey gradually showed his attitude and psychological changes in the interaction with Galanzhin, from being dissatisfied with the new coach to being shocked by his arrogant words, to gradually Adapting to the opponent's training and tactical arrangements, to recognizing the opponent's guidance and character from the bottom of his heart, and finally helping the opponent with the bonus he deserves, Sergey's transformation also runs through the entire story, and is the most complete performance. Yes, and to a certain extent, it represents a change in the attitude of all the players towards Garan Ren. At the same time, as mentioned above, Sergey is the only one on the team who has not shown disapproval or support since Garland stated his goal of defeating the U.S. team; and looking at his relationship with Garland All the interactions of coach Ren, when the coach tried his best to help other players solve various difficulties, Sergey never needed Galanzhin to help him. It is he who has been actively transforming himself, speaking for the coach more than once, assisting the coach to complete the other party's intention, and finally sending donations on behalf of everyone, so from this point of view, the interaction between Sergei and Galanzhin is another important factor for all players. the most special.

In addition to the part related to the coach, Sergey still has some points worth paying attention to. For example, although he is relatively alone, he has a good relationship with No. 5 Paulo Skas. Immediately after Gomelski left the team, he left with Pauluskas who was not interested in reading the list. At the World Championships in Essen, he only cooperated with Pauluskas alone. Most of them are in company with Pauluskas, he is not completely alone. Sergey recognized Pauluskas' skills and considered the man a friend. But even so, in the pub after the victory in Essen, when Pauluskas spoke his heart and was frustrated by his unfree situation, Sergey did not persuade the other party. On the bus passing through customs inspection, when Paulus Kas provoked, he almost rushed to fight with the other party. He has his own emotions, and he is not willing to interfere with the choices and situations of those who are close to him. After winning the Munich final, he also walked into the corner from his teammates who were celebrating in a group, and cried alone. This should be one of his own personality traits.

Sergey is also a careful person. The team doctor Sheva told him that the coach was good to Pauluskas and Sasha. However, he also noticed the myopia that Zar had never mentioned, and the improvement of myopia. details, and speculated that this was Garland's doing. As for Galangren leading the team to Georgia to attend the wedding of Misiko's sister, he also knew exactly how Misiko felt. And after the Munich final, looking at the coach's expression, he immediately thought of the predicament of the inoperable child who was still concerned about by the coach.

Also, one of my favorite Sergey details happens in that lore scene. If we are careful enough to compare the close-up of the last three seconds in the film with the historical record of the lore in the 1972 Munich final at the end of the film, we will find that Sergey in the film is different from the historical fact—that is, in the When Sasha shot the ball on the 14th, the historical Sergey stopped, watched the goal and jumped up to celebrate, while the Sergey in the film rushed to the basket while Sasha was shooting. He jumped up and got ready to make a tip in time if the ball didn't go in. For a movie where the entire lore process is so restored, I would like to believe that this difference is intentional. It is the best interpretation of Sergey's character "he knows what to do". It is a silent sublimation. I think Sergey is one of the most fleshed out characters in the movie, and he's my favorite character in the whole movie, aside from the coach.

2. Sasha should be the one with the closest relationship to coach Garland among all the players. Counting the deleted plot, in this movie he was a player of Garland during his time at Spartak, and Garland selected him to the national team - this is different from the historical fact, historically, in Gomel Sasha was already drafted in when Sky was in charge of the national team, but not yet the main force. In the movie, Coach Garland has to make a decision between Sasha's life and Shura's health. Sasha also defended Galanzin. Not only did he always obey Galanzin's arrangements on the field, but also when Pauluskas was on the bus after customs and in the game after losing a streetball in the United States Before, when he expressed his complaints and dissatisfaction towards the coach twice, Sasha, who was not angry that he was smashed by Paulus Cass, stood up for the first time every time to protect the coach, almost with Paulus. Cass argues. When playing in Georgia, Sasha also played with the coach's children. In the abridged plot, the coach only mentioned Sasha to his wife, and he got his wife's support. It seems that Sasha should be an acquaintance of the coach's family. In the semi-final against Cuba at the Olympics, Galanjen sat in a stunned state as everyone else asked him how he would deal with the game, only Sasha was asking him "what's wrong". But even Sasha, who listened to Galan's words like this, still toasted with the rest of the team for the rest of Soviet basketball in a drunk American tavern after losing the streetball. It can be seen that even a player like Sasha who maintains the coach could not believe in the fact that he could win the US team.

The main line of Sasha in this story is with his girlfriend Sveshnikova. From the hidden danger of the disease, to trying to push his girlfriend away because he is dying, and then to the look before the lore goal. It was Sveshnikova who said "If you only have three seconds to live, what should you do" after learning about Sasha's condition, Sasha finally found a state of calm and cast a lore shot. ball. The story of this young couple is the only obvious clue of love in the movie. At first, it seems to be outside the main line, but at last it converges on the main line, making a point, showing the greatness and power of love at the same time. The agreed action they were used to before was Sasha's pitching posture, Sveshnikova went to catch the ball, and at the moment before the lore, the girl made the pitching action, giving Sasha a silent voice. Encourage.

Sasha is a very interesting character. When he knew his death was near, he was still reluctant to give up his love of basketball, but from the perspective of his girlfriend's future, he would rather be ruthless and pretend to be a heartless person. He doesn't care much about being bullied or at a loss, but he has the ruthlessness to defend those he cares about. In the Munich final, when the U.S. team played rough, he returned the elbow, and with a little smile calmly faced the coach's reminder and the boos on the field. He raced against the god of death, and raced against time on the field, and finally realized the value of his life, let life bloom in the most splendid manner, devoted himself to the things he loved, and burned the most dazzling light. The miracle of American doctors, such a role must be impressive.

3. If Garland in this story is the coach for Sasha's life, he took out the money that should have been used for surgery on his own child, it was an economical payment. The act of sheltering the No. 5 Lithuanian player Pauluskas so many times, and even finally deciding to let him leave before the final, can be regarded as paying for his career and even his personal safety. Even though Pauluskas was a recalcitrant captain who bullied rookies and picked on Garland's misspellings from the start of the story, Coach Garland was always lenient with him. In the deleted clip of the tavern after the Essen World Championship final, the coach once told the team leader that some people planned to leave... It can be seen that before being informed by the superior leadership that Pauluskas might defect, Galanren told the team leader about this. already understood. But even so, he still undeniably protected Pauluskas in front of the leader on the grounds of the team's needs. When the leader brought the conclusive "criminal evidence" that No. 5 was about to defect, he insisted on not handing over the player. These pressures were carried by Galangzin alone and were not passed on to Pauluskas or any other team members, even though Pauluskas expressed his dissatisfaction with Galangzin more than once during this period.

Before the finals of the Olympic Games, after being hit by his children's inability to go abroad, Garland decided to tell Pauluskas the seriousness of the situation and let him choose to leave or stay freely. Paulus Kas, who still wanted to leave at that time, wanted to shake hands with Galanzin before saying goodbye, but this did not get a response from the coach. Since then, his friend Sergey has revealed his scheming very rarely, expressing that his feelings for his teammates and the collective surpass the favorable environment, higher salary and the advantage of being able to cure leg injuries in foreign countries, but this still fails to let him. Pauluskas abandoned plans to leave.

However, he finally regretted it on the way to leave. Perhaps it was the asylum materials prepared by his relatives with a pseudonym, which reminded him of the national team list that Galanren had misspelled in handwriting; It was the news of the Munich terrorist attack that was broadcast live on the roadside that made him start to worry about his teammates who went to the Israel Building; perhaps it was the ubiquitous Olympic Village basketball poster and Sergey's remarks that finally made him reluctant to leave the group. The movie did not directly reveal Pauluskas's psychological activities, or the film did not directly describe anyone's psychological activities, but the past bit by bit finally made Pauluskas return halfway, and would rather risk winning the championship I can no longer go abroad, or worse, lose the risk of being caught in the finals, regain my mind and return to the Soviet basketball team.

In the final, he was still aggrieved by the coach's arrangement after sitting on the bench at halftime, but he still obeyed, and there was no ambiguity at the critical moment of the second half. After winning the game, the first thing he did was come to Garlanden, stretched out his hands, and this time he finally shook hands with his coach, and then with someone who couldn't understand that he had to go back to the game. The relatives embraced each other to celebrate. This time, he could finally sing the Lithuanian song. He was the only one who noticed that in the corner of the stadium, Sergey, who was weeping alone for the difficulty and joy of victory, helped his friend drive away the snap shot. reporter, leaving him room to calm down.

I don't want to connect with the historical facts. Just looking at the characters in this story, I think Pauluskas is a very interesting character. He was being watched, it was out of place, and it was inevitable that he had suppressed emotions. He also took the initiative to sing a song from his hometown among the teammates who got together to drink and sing in the pub after the game in Essen (deleted plot). The score to inspire the sick Sasha, his caring and caring for Sergey, who suffered from a knee injury, can show his emotions. And his several almost unreasonable emotional episodes, if not for Sasha No. 14, whom he also encouraged, or to his friend No. 10 Sergey, or it actually made him miss him. A good handshake to thank Garland as coach. To a certain extent, I think this may be called subconscious help or vent, towards someone he can really trust in his heart. He may not like the Soviet Union, but he still can't give up his teammates and coaches whom he really loves, and is willing to give up his future to fight this game that is likely to fail. He is a candid character, and he deserves his coaches to pay the most and endure the most dangerous results to protect.

4. I think Ivan, who can knit a sweater, is the cutest character in the whole film! Ivan and Sasha are newcomers selected by Garland into the national team together, but from the conversation between Sergey and Pauluskas, we can know that Ivan is also a balloon star in Belarus. Such a young man, without any pride, a little soft. In the abridgement after the Essen World Championships, he showed some admiration to Sergey and wanted to give him a gift, but he was ruthlessly rejected, and he still maintained a good attitude to face the big brother teammate.

Even if he also wants to be the center of attention on the field like Sergey, he can shine. However, he has always followed Galan Ren's teaching, looking for his position in the direction expected by the coach, getting better and better, organizing passes, and willing to assist. In the Brazil final, Sergei and Paulo Skas When Shuangshuang was unable to play, he gave full play to his role. His various efforts were not in vain in the end. It was his passing that Garlanden valued and made the legend in the last three seconds.

Ivan is a person who cares about his teammates. Before Gomelski was dismissed from get out of class, he was concerned about Sasha, who was smashed by Pauluskas. He often teamed up with Sasha. When he played in the United States, Sasha was hospitalized. Afterwards, he was also the first to ask the coach, how is Sasha, is there anything they can do, and after winning the game and set the score for Sasha, he shouted words of encouragement for Sasha; Sergey was in the Brazilian arena The upper knee injury attacked, and Ivan was also comforting him. When it was Ivan's turn to be injured in the Munich final, he gritted his teeth and held on.

5. Both Mishko and Zurab are Georgians who value family and family. The large and small bags they brought during the customs inspection show this. Mihiko's family almost forced him to choose between basketball and his family, and Garan, who did not give Mihiko a chance to speak at first, made a decision on the spot to take the whole team to the training ground after learning about the situation. Georgia's decision to attend a wedding. We can notice that coach Garland doesn't seem to like wearing suits. Even when he was initially summoned by the leader and entrusted with the important task of the national team coach, his suit was not well-dressed, and he needed to be reminded by the team leader to sort it out. neckline. At the wedding scene in Georgia, the coach wore a suit and tie neatly for the only time in the whole film. For the wine presented by the elders of the Misiko family, even if the family did not really want him to drink, the coach still drank it all. .

There are different customs among the various ethnic groups in the Soviet Union. The coach fully respected them. At the same time, he did not forget to take care of the training of the players. He blocked the toast by himself, and won the respect of the relatives of Mishko and the team. support. Family affection was originally a fetter that affected the progress of Misiko, but the coach used such a sincere way to make Misiko carry the affirmation of the whole family and the motivation to look forward to progress and struggle, and also deepened the understanding of the other team members and the two young men from Georgia. And feelings, if the Soviet basketball team began to look like a united team after going to the United States, then they experienced Georgia, in my opinion, has begun to feel like family.

Mihiko is a bit disobedient. During the World Championships in Essen, he also disapproved of Garland's arrangement. When he first arrived in the United States, he was the most excited to play streetball. He complained to the coach before the game, asked Garland to take a leave of absence to go to the Israel Pavilion before the Olympic final, but he left the Olympic Village to play all night in private. Even in the final, he was the first to lose his temper, and finally Come up with a limit one-for-one. He is not a player who can make the coach feel at ease, but he has always obeyed the coach's arrangement in training, and has been emotionally ups and downs for the entire team. people.

6. "Indian" Zal is actually a guy with solid skills and loves basketball. Galanren kept him in the national team, obviously he recognized his skills, but at the critical moment of the Brazilian intercontinental game, the coach immediately asked the coach to pull his hips. I noticed the problem of Zal's myopia. In the moment of desperation, Galanren blurted out the words "I can't use you like this", so that after the victory in the final, when the coach went to pat Zaer to express his encouragement, Zaer was still not happy.

This seems to have become Zaer's mind for a period of time. When the coach went to the United States, when the coach questioned Zaer again why he didn't pass the ball, Zaer even proposed to leave the team voluntarily. However, he did not want to leave basketball. Back to the hometown team. In this film, the coach figured out a way to solve this problem for him, so that Zare could finally show his actual strength. In the Olympic finals, when the contact lenses were knocked out, it was Zal's own sense of the ball and the closed-eye passing that Garanjen had been asking the players to practice. Zal is a bit of a silent big man, but his yearning for basketball has always been sincere, and he finally played his strength and role in the team led by Garland.

7. Besides the players, I also want to talk about the team leader Grisha. From the information given in the film, it can be known that Grisha and Galanren played together in Leningrad. Years later, one of them became an official of the National Basketball Association, and the other became an official for Leningrad. Strong team coach. Grisha's recommendation of Garland as the head coach of the national team was supposed to be a story of not avoiding relatives.

Grisha did not have the idealism and ambition of Galanzin. He wanted to seek security, but it was the friend he personally recommended that caused him many unexpected troubles. In the abridged episode, this led to his betrayal of smuggling the team, and the consequences of that betrayal, for Galangin, were almost fatal. His proposal to drop the Olympic finals would literally kill the hopes of Garlandin and his players. The team leader is not a bad person. Based on the morality of his friend, he will also do some things and carry some things for Garan. He really cares about this friend and wants to help him. But Galanzin's rhetoric puts him in a dilemma, and it's true that he's dissatisfied. He's a rational bureaucrat who knows when and how to best protect himself.

However, even Grisha like this has witnessed how difficult it was for Garland and how he worked tirelessly along the way, and gradually gathered the entire team, so that everyone from winning the US team as a fantasy, to the real goal of this After going to struggle and working hard, after Galang Ren learned the truth of his whistle-blowing, he did not accuse him of his influence on Shula, but called him a "beast" because he took away the dreams of the players. After the war between heaven and man, He also finally regained the kind of hard work that he might have had when he was a player back then. He was willing to bet half his life in business, prepared for the worst, and moved forward with the entire team, and decided to continue participating in the game. . The arrival of Garland as coach has changed almost every major player of the Soviet team because of him, and Grisha, who is also a member of the team, is no exception. Even after the first rematch of the Olympic finals, even Galanren thought that failure was a foregone conclusion, but he still did not give up and fought hard, so he became a legend for three seconds.

In addition to the interactions with these characters, there are some noteworthy details about Coach Garland. For example, he is very strict in training, and it is difficult for everyone to meet his requirements, but when he fails to meet his requirements, and when he fails to perform well on the court and makes mistakes, he always says "it's okay, continue", After reading the article, instead of blaming the other party for previous mistakes. The second is that he will understand others in the first instant with the thinking method of "doing what you want to do to others". When Sasha apologized for concealing the heart disease, he said, "I wouldn't say it if it were me"; Misiko Angry and provocative, when he and Team USA No. 9 were both sent off, he said to Misiko, "I can't help it if I change to me." "I can understand your whistleblower." His aura of indifference and arrogance was not obtained by reprimand and coercion. It was precisely because of his sincerity and simplicity, and because of his determination and dedication, that he could become the engine of the new sports car he made. He is the worthy core.

The coach is also a master of attacking the heart in tactics. For the finals alone, he responds very quickly, predicts the opponent's play style very accurately, and is not arrogant or discouraged. He has always been reassured. The mistake is still a timely encouragement reminder. When everyone has absolute trust in him, it can drive emotions too much . Mihiko, who left the opponent's center .

Almost all of the coach's training content was echoed in the finals that followed. Let the two Georgians work hard on their physical strength and speed. In the end, they were used as the starting rhythm to disrupt the U.S. team's position. They taught the children to pass the ball with their eyes closed, and asked the players to practice passing the ball a lot. After flying out, you can also catch the ball and score by feel. Sergey went from scoring with the ball in the first victory to the Olympic Games using the attention of the opponent's players to create opportunities for his teammates, allowing them to shoot and score. This is exactly the change that the coach brought to Sergey. Ivan went from being heroic to Sergey to commanding and passing the ball decisively, and also getting the chance to score points. Sasha was selected by the coach into the national team. From being mocked and bullied by Paulo at the earliest, to trying to overcome the disease and shaking in his heart, he made extraordinary achievements at critical moments and so on.

This whole team, from the beginning, only Sergey secretly supported the coach, to the fact that they really became a determined team that wanted to win every game, to Miha, the spokesperson who despised the coach the most. Ilovic also asked everyone to save their physical strength for the final in the semi-finals. In the last three seconds, the team leader still did not give up and fought for it. When the leaders were drinking vodka in front of the screen, they were all happy and sad for the game. All this is just like the coach. As it was said at the beginning of the story when throwing the ball into the rim with one hand from a distance, it is possible with confidence. He is a reef in the turbulent currents, a lighthouse in the wind and rain. It is his unchanging beliefs and efforts that have changed everyone around him, and finally turned the unreachable dream at the beginning into a dream that was truly realized at the end of the story. This process is so difficult and so beautiful. I don't think this is the coach's reluctance. After all, under the setting of the story at the time, which country's players and officials would not want to win the US team? It’s just that it’s too difficult. The only person who dares to say that he has the will, ability, and charisma to work hard for it, and can arouse the fighting spirit of others, and unite and work hard for it, is only the coach.

In addition to the characters mentioned above, in this film, the performance of many other characters is also dazzling. The Soviet side, for example, is very coercive on the surface, but in fact secretly praised Garland as coach and gave him a lot of The president who supported; Mikhailovich, the often self-righteous spokesman for the bureaucracy who always distrusted Galan; the great Georgian patriarch who was going to bring wine to his brother in Israel; Shura, who was always a staunch supporter of his father, and the worried, albeit disobedient. Agree, but the lady who has been supporting the coach and so on.

In the United States, coaches who are very aura, trust the players, judge accurately at different times, are not limited by styles and methods, but also have no lack of coaches who affirm and encourage the players; they are firm-willed, skilled, and still stand up when they are maliciously fouled. Brother Doug, No. 5, who made two free throws; Dwight, the center who is fierce and unwilling to maliciously foul, etc., are not face-saving. Some details can see the conflict between the black and white players, as well as the lack of tacit cooperation among the American players, but they also have a strong belief in wanting to win. A truly dangerous, powerful and charismatic adversary may reveal a more determined, charismatic and attractive protagonist. In addition, the American fan sister who will feel sorry for Zurab, the excited red-necked fans from afar, the doctor who bet on the United States to win but also cares about his patients, several happy street ball boys, etc. deep impression.

I think apart from smearing the Soviet Union in all aspects, the script of the story "The Killing of Munich" is sincere. It depicts the good side of human nature with heart. People can finally trust each other and unite for a Common goal, not afraid of all difficulties, to create almost impossible miracles. This film focuses on telling a story, and everyone in the story is alive and not a tool. It is the interweaving of everyone's different perspectives, positions, thoughts and changes that have made this wonderful work.

Some people say that the first half of the movie is not very interesting, and it only becomes exciting after the game. But I think it was the fragmented foreshadowing in the first half that made us as audiences become interested in the characters, and we were unknowingly brought into the atmosphere at that time and infected by the emotions of the characters. In the second half of the game, I was nervous and nervous with the situation on the field, and I was completely immersed in the atmosphere of the scene. And this story is based on sports, and does not set a high threshold. Even if you do not understand the rules of basketball, it does not prevent the audience from being touched by a fierce game as if they were there. There are feelings that have not been completely calmed down, and even some feelings that I want to express.

A few days ago, when Amway, who was selling "The Killing of Munich" on Weibo, I saw a blogger named Romeo with a straight face reposted it: "Who has finished reading The Killing of Munich and hasn't read two Soviet literature?" This reminded me of the many materials and works about the Soviet Union that I have watched over the past year, and then I laughed. I am sure that few people will be able to read such a long and incomprehensible private viewing notes, but I think that readers who can finish reading this may really be like me and can't help but learn more About the past and stories of the Soviet Union.

In a word, art comes from life. I can't say that "The Killing of Munich" is higher than life, higher than the historical facts. It can only be viewed as a story that is different from history, but if after watching this film, , there are some audiences, like me, who can be continuously influenced after watching the film, and have the motivation to trace the story behind it, the background, and even be interested in the culture in which it is rooted. This is not a movie. success?
