True history, legendary history. A miracle in the history of basketball and a legend in the ideological confrontation between the East and the West. The film truly reflected the problems existing in the Soviet system and politics at that time, and did not evade and blindly sing praises. The coaches and players in the middle were facing various difficulties in life and politics under the national conditions at that time, and the leaders at all levels of the sports system also kept repeating themselves considering the political future, so the final victory of the game was even more precious.
The personality of each character and their own story are not only the contradictions in the development of the plot, but also the necessary force to ultimately lead to victory. The second reversal at the last moment of the movie can be said to once make people think that the movie is over, but the ending again is simple, clear, and even more exciting.
Special events in special times, I have to say that this is a great movie.
