This should be the first time I wrote a movie review without watching it, or even actually watching it.
The first time I saw "Super Sense Hunting", I thought it was a movie, or the Wachowski brothers, oh no, sister and brother, oh no, sister's movie, so I quickly downloaded it. I felt a little dizzy at the beginning, the characters were too messy, and I didn't have the heart to understand them one by one, so I put them on hold. Then I saw that there was a movie version recently, so I hurried, and I didn't finish it again, because although this was a special ending, it was really hard to put together a collage due to the lack of lessons in the previous two seasons. So I had to read the plot introduction solidly. Just relying on the plot introduction, it is roughly like this story:
In this world, there is a special group of people, they are called "Synthetic people". They have special "spiritual elements" in their genes, so they can connect with each other's senses, of course, this connection is not infinite (that is to say, not all synaesthetes are connected), and they were born at the same time, so they can establish a " ethnic group". Originally scattered all over the world, 8 people with different identities and occupations have their own lives, just like you and me in reality, one day accidentally discovered the connection with each other (relying on the death of a synaesthetic person who can connect them, they found that the existence of each other), and since then they have become a new family, a family that is more deeply connected than blood. Indeed, this was originally the Wachowski sisters' most wonderful imagination: We are not always curious about other people's worlds, other people's lives. Besides, we are always separated from each other, be it race, gender, or status. Some time ago, a little girl who studied media posted a sentence on the circle of friends: How can I know what it is like to be a man. I replied: Shave your head, you will experience it soon. To put it bluntly, it's just a physical experience. It's like a reporter trying to find the truth and letting himself into the beggars' circle and into the pyramid selling group. In the final analysis, it is still "objective" and "external" synaesthesia. But, like I struggled with the Wachowski sisters' previous gender, think, are they out of a "nature" choice? I do not believe. People who get into their "divine status" have to come out of the closet early, and they don't even care about the so-called "external sexual characteristics" (to put it bluntly, those who get into this spiritual level are nothing but stinky skins). I believe that they are "from the palace to practice magic". Why do this? Remember the most powerful quote from The Matrix: "Free your mind" (or, more elegantly, "Free your mind"). We are always bound by the external reality, such as our gender, which determines our perspective. We can't say "change gender" to think, the big deal is to think about how to defend women from the perspective of "father loves daughter" dignity and freedom. So, so, this film is actually here, and it has been wonderful and complete. They make us think, they make us "move the world" to think about other people's worlds and lives. Ultimately, we become more inclusive and more civilized. And this is "brothers in the four seas" (I understand, there is no gender discrimination in the original sentence, and it happens to be gender equality), this is also the "traditional core value" consistent with foreign "Bibles" and Chinese Confucianism.
Of course, with synaesthesia and being able to help each other, isn't this group invincible? However, the story still needs to be written, there are days outside the sky, and there are times when the gods can't cross the river, so they created "Whisperers", and an organization called BPO (sounds like some kind of oil organization, or goes public). And it is said that this organization was originally designed to allow ordinary people and synaesthetes to coexist harmoniously, and later became a secret organization that hunted and killed synaesthetes. And "Whisperer", according to my understanding, is super synaesthesia. He is not the same group of 8 synaesthetes, but he can find several other people by finding one synaesthetist, and can use them as his own. The experimental subject (I saw this plot myself), exploring the "truth". Originally the best connection, now it is also called the most dangerous connection, wonderful. Just like the police catch the bad guys, if you catch one, you can catch them all.
In the back, all I see is that the gourd babies unite, catch the Whisperer, and find the originator of the sympathetic, and rescue the brother who was caught by the BPO, even I didn't see the end, but I did read the spoiler You know, 8 people are shamelessly together.
Therefore, I will not continue to watch it, nor will I collect all the previous Dragon Balls to write a new film review. Because the story behind it is not really exciting. Because there are too many components of "strong screenwriters", and the plot of "enemy and foe" will inevitably enter "cliches" (however, how to steal information, how to design infiltration, how to shoot and fight, and how to fight back against the enemy).
All stories have a wonderful beginning, then there is a story for us to read, and there is a happy ending. However, just like reading a book, in fact, it is often finished at the beginning. This is a human limitation. This kind of problem, in fact, "The Matrix" also has. So what else can I say?
Yes, before this show, I remember that the Wachowskis did Cloud Atlas. Yuntu is a few different protagonists, in different worlds. And this "Super Sense Hunting" is 8 people in the same world. In martial arts novels, you have to "bloom two plums, each with a branch"; drama has long established "three equals". So what Wachowski is really exploring is the story of "group characters." This is an extreme of creation, as I often have a lot of ideas and concepts to express, and have even devoted a lot of time to writing it into a book. If we really want to condense the information ten times and one hundred times more than a book, we find that the real problem is not that there is too much information, but that the information is still seriously insufficient, and to supplement every pit seems to have entered a bottomless pit. So, Wachowski is stubbornly moving towards where the "resistance" is greatest. In fact, how well can they do it? Objectively speaking, it’s really bad, don’t say anything about burning money and making it impossible to shoot (I think this is more of a gimmick, Wachowski’s brand will not make money? They dare to come to China to crowdfund, I am willing to give money. . I think this is the excuse for the sisters to feel the "bottomless pit" and prepare to "close their hands"); it should be said that they still encountered insurmountable creative limitations. That's the way it is. I click Li Bai again. You said "Sleepwalking Tianmu Saying Goodbye", why can't you write about the gathering of the immortals? Saying that it sounds good is to give readers space, but in fact there is really no way to write it. This is not at all something that the imagination can do.
Still, the Wachowskis have to be applauded, after all, they started such an attempt. What will the future of movies look like? It must have started here. Because to challenge the "rules" of traditional stories, more characters are required; because to challenge the traditional "thinking", synaesthesia is required; from this point of view, the value is too high. 18.6.26
