I often look for good Korean movies to watch. Basically, I have seen all the classic movies. Huang Zhengmin's movies are generally of high quality. The film is based on the Korean and Korean wars in 1950, and tells the story of the male protagonist, who takes on the burden of supporting the family in place of his father after his father and sister are separated from each other. There are three things that deeply impressed me about the movie. The male protagonist was black in the mine when he was earning money, and the female protagonist was in a painful and helpless living situation when he helped the dead to wipe their bodies. Finally, the male protagonist's family was at the end of the war. Later, look for clips of father and sister through TV shows. I really teared up after watching it.
Having never experienced the social and historical background of Korea, my feelings are not as profound as those of the Korean friends around me, but I am still moved by the most real family affection. This movie didn't teach me any big truths, just family and war hit the bottom of my heart. People are fragile, but they are strong enough to use their own strength to protect those around them.
