The first shot of the movie "International Market" is the shop sign of the Pollen House in the Busan International Market, and then begins the life of South Korea's Forrest Gump Yoon Deok-soo.

At the beginning of the movie, the elderly Yin Dexiu and his wife Zuo asked her on the rooftop: "Yingzi, do you know what my dream is?"
"What is it?"
"It's the captain. The captain who can drive such a big ship."
"Yes . But why hasn't it been mentioned yet? I just found out today for the first time."
"What's the use of saying that? It was only mentioned once before."

Then the camera moves to the scene of the Korean War in the 1950s. The parents escaped with their four children, and Dexu, the eldest son, was in charge of holding the younger sister. Although the film is not known for its big scenes, the scenes of people fleeing during the war are still very sad. So much so that for this film, I was thinking about the war and Yin Dexiu's personal struggle history.

It seems that for our generation, war is too far away from us. When we talk about war, we also think of the general introduction to war in history textbooks and the changes in various patterns after the war. However, what the movie shows us is that the misfortune brought about by the war affects every civilian. Whether the country is not strong enough, or the struggle of various parties in the country, for every ordinary us, war is a disaster. The common people in the lower classes of society are the most innocent victims. After that, when Deok-soo and Dak-joo were in Vietnam, the same war made me see a familiar scene. A group of women brought the elderly and children to ask Dexiu to take them on the boat. The war made people lose their homes. At that time, for everyone, it was good to live, and it was enough to live. The shooting scene in the film can't help but make people feel that peace is not easy, and living is the greatest happiness.

From another perspective, this is also Yin Dexiu's personal struggle history. Deok-soo lost his father and sister during the escape when he was a child, and his mother took him and his younger siblings to his aunt's house in Busan. Despite his young age, he has already shouldered the responsibilities of a parent. It can be seen that he is a studious child, but he has a family to support, and it seems that going to school does not belong to him. So he started working at the wharf and then went to Germany to work as a miner. This episode made me very sad. He was reluctant to go at first, but to support his family, he had to go. One of the good things about the movie is that even if I haven't been a miner before watching the movie scene, I can know the hard work and danger of being a miner. Watching him work day and night in the dark mine, and finally suffered a mine explosion, why should all this suffering happen to unfortunate people? Fortunately, the experience in Germany allowed him to marry a beautiful and virtuous wife. Later, also to support his family, he went to Vietnam with Da Jiu. This scene is very similar to Forrest Gump. I feel the same way about this part. Recently, because of some things, I also realized that life is not easy, and it takes a lot of effort to live a bright and beautiful life.

At the end of the film, Dexiu found his long-lost sister, which is considered a happy ending for the film. Although I couldn't find my father, the last scene of the film is still moving: the family gathered in the living room, Dexiu was alone in the room, and said to his father's photo, "Have I kept the promise? I even found Mo Shun, I'm doing pretty well. But, I'm really working hard."

Everyone must be moved, and Huang Zhengmin's excellence is also here. In the end, once again, it makes people feel that life is not easy, and pay tribute to those who work hard to live.
