Even though it's a bit of a niche compared to Brokeback Mountain and Maurice, it's one of my favorite LBGTQ movies, and even one of my favorite romance movies. Those crazy summer grass and moist love always remind me of McCullers' Singer and his lover, whose fingers are constantly talking to each other in a language they can't understand. The Tower of Babel has long been From the sky to the ground. Luckily the two in the movie can finally talk about childhood memories together, unfortunately there are only so many childhood memories, luckily memories can go on and on.
