How much of the 8.5 rating goes to the flesh of Martin and Beard (forgot what it's called)? There are too many scenes with blurred foreground in the film, like a voyeuristic perspective, which is very separate from the narrative of the whole film; the acting skills of the two male protagonists are a bit unnatural, the beard often frowns and his face is cold, Martin's alone. The camera performance is a bit deliberate, maybe because this is the point of view of the beard, he noticed the sight of the beard? The eerie string background sound also makes the film feel much less summery.
The film tells the story of Martin, who has nowhere to go, to go to his childhood friend's beard and be hired. The beard's point of view is that he deliberately let Martin change clothes to peep at each other's buttocks, and see Martin's lower body from the reflection; Martin is in the car. Glancing at the red shorts with a bulging beard, hiding a peek at the beard and peeing by the river, these plots mean that both of them are gay, and there is no straight-forward ambiguity. It is impossible to like someone without being greedy for his body, but being greedy for his body does not necessarily mean love.
In the second half, Martin's kiss on the beard was rejected, and the beard questioned whether he was trying to please him because he saw his own painting; the two reunited through the memories of pineapple when they were young, which is also a he. The elderly really can't watch Be's dramas, and it's hard to watch one for a week. When Martin first talked about pineapple, the film used a silent expression. What was the beard thinking at this time? Seems to be his novel.
I'm more concerned about Martin's banknotes in the jar, and when the beard picked him up, he only took his handbag, not much in the video, but I think why he should be saving money. There are a few close-up shots in the first half, but there is no description later, which is a pity.
There is also a plot. After the beard goes on a business trip, Martin wears beard clothes and goes to the beard bed. I think it should be to express his love for the beard, his nostalgia for the smell of the beard, but unfortunately, when I watched it, it only felt like a servant People experience the master's life out of curiosity when the master is not at home.
However, in the film, the two floating in the water, blowing air guns, and racing are all very interesting, but I can't see any hidden deep and repressed love in these scenes. It seems that it is really just a reunion of friends who haven't seen for many years gossip.
All the good scenes I feel are greedy, giving Martin clothes, helping Martin deal with his wounds (did he go to the hospital in the end), and Martin hinting that he needs to wash his clothes and his pants are half off, showing pubic hair, no love, only lust. It's just because of the former friendship, it's not convenient to force it directly.
But I still give four stars, two for the beard and Martin's body, one for the background of the summer story, and the last one for the long kiss at the end of the two.
