An interesting anti-plot literary film that interprets an absurd and romantic loneliness. The movie "What Time Is That You" tells the story of the death of the watch dealer Xiaokang's father, Xiaokang meets a girl who is going to Paris and wants to turn Taipei into Paris time, and Xiaokang's father also lives in Paris time in the thoughts of his mother. . This excellent anti-plot movie has two distinct characteristics: 1. The charisma of the characters to the extreme is the main driving force for the progress of the story. Xiaokang was afraid of his deceased father and did not dare to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. He did not understand his parents, and he was extremely lonely. Therefore, when just selling a watch to a girl, this subtle connection also aroused his yearning for a different life. He changed the time at home to Paris time, which just happened to allow his mother's thoughts of his father to be pinned, and he firmly believed that his father's soul existed in this time. At the same time, the girl who went to Paris was lonely and bored and kept drinking coffee until she met a Chinese girl in a foreign land. The film deliberately gave two same-sex plots, I don't know if the director is expressing his supportive attitude, but these two plots also portray loneliness, which does not affect the progress of the movie. 2. The plot is full of emotional metaphors, clocks, fish in water, boxes, there are many interesting plots. For example, the heroine has a scene in the cemetery. She flips through her bag, but she doesn't actually know what she has lost. The director also arranged a relatively naked show of desire. The mother puts on a cheongsam, the girl woos in Paris, and Xiaokang meets a prostitute. After venting, Xiaokang and the girl's boxes are lost. The difference is that the girl's box survives in Paris. Time's father picked up, and his father also walked to the beautiful Ferris wheel. Perhaps the director wanted to express that Xiaokang's psychological imbalance was taken away after the death of his father, and the girl's lost life will still come back. It is better to be like a mother, and hope still exists.
