distance

I happened to watch this film late at night with insomnia, so I can better understand the loneliness of everyone in the film. Although people living in modern cities are close to each other, their hearts are far apart, so that strong sense of loneliness becomes everywhere.
The rhythm of the movie is very slow, but this rhythm just shows a kind of depression and silence. The imagery of the film is also very clear. Clocks with jet lag, silent fish, old French movies in black and white, etc., all reflect the distance between people in the city.
