Recently, I revisited a few good domestic films, and I feel that our storytelling ability is still there. Although sometimes less imaginative than Americans. I feel more and more that simply telling a good story is valuable. It doesn't have to be how good the special effects are, or how complicated the form is, but it has to have a heavy power in itself. Perhaps because of the feeling of exhaustion, the film seems to be deliberately pursuing structural complexity, or it is a bit of a tricky combination of multiple short stories (very few can do wonderful overlap).
