humility among friends

This is a movie I saw in a Korean language book, because everyone said it was not a good movie, so I downloaded it to watch it. The story begins with four hairy children, their bond is to play games, go out and play, and play. Like every boy, this resonates with anyone who's been through it. 4 people with different personalities, the well-behaved Shan Tai, the oppressed Yuan Rui, the gangster background Jun Shuo, and the eloquent Rong He. We can always find a one-to-one correspondence with similar people around us, and they have a strong match with the people around us, which makes me more interested in this film. Because since childhood, I have admired those people with a gangster background. They have many friends, extensive communication, and unrestrained personalities. Is their future development and life trajectory as admirable as they were when they were young? From the plot of "Friends", Yuan Rui and Jun Shuo undoubtedly succeeded and became the leaders of the gang. After taking drugs and going to jail, they finally got the upper hand, but their bond has also changed.
This is what "Friends" has been discussing all the time. Why have they changed since then? Do you think they were afraid or complained about each other when they fought for Shantai and were besieged by the whole school? No, Junshuo's "friends are not humble" is the proof of their friendship. They simply believe that each other is trustworthy and reliable.
Yuan Rui, a character who was once promoted from an inconspicuous supporting role to a villain, because he hated his father's profession, he wanted to change his fate in his bones, but he was once put together by Junshuo who wanted to follow him all the time. Their friendship is not due to trust. After all, they are in the same industry, either as rivals or as servants. Yuan Rui, of course, is not someone who is willing to become a servant. He hates the life tortured by poverty and discrimination. If he wants to change his destiny, he needs to keep conquering. When he is old enough to confront his former friends, he chose the former. Therefore, this kind of fetters is like the brothers who had to kill each other in "Famous Name", abandoning emotions, and those who simply pursue interests eventually become those who are used by interests.
Shantai has always been a storyteller, so he didn't get too involved in the whole thing, and because of the difference in their life paths, their friendship was more like pure emotional support. Junshuo's favoritism towards Shantai may be his envy for someone like him.

Straight-line narrative, smooth and concise, and the ending is a bit overdone. I prefer this way of expression compared to the popular "Once Upon a Time in America". F: Jang Dong Gun's style is very similar to Toshiro Mifune's mid-term style, but obviously lacks momentum, only ruffian but not domineering.

Friends, when I was young, I was hanged on a hook for a hundred years, but when I grew up, I no longer trusted each other, betrayed each other, and then missed them.
