reminisce

I vaguely remember that it was a rainy afternoon nearly 30 years ago. My mother is going to work in middle school. I don't want to go downstairs with my grandparents, nor stay alone in the dark room on the second floor on a cloudy and rainy day. So my mother moved the black and white TV to the door of the room, and moved a small bench for me to sit at the entrance of the corridor and watch TV. At that time, there were only 1 central TV set (channel 2 on my TV at that time) 2 sets (channel 7) and our local TV station (the rest of the channels that I can't remember). Somehow I came across this cartoon, and many elements in it left a deep impression on me: the big bird (why it is called a small bird, I have never understood), the robot breaks the cage with the last punch, cross-eyed, the big bird on the radio. Shouting "Attention, attention, XXXX ran with a chimney sweep XXXX" (I can't remember the lines, just left the impression that the chimney sweep is a very low job =. =)... However, at that time I am still too young to understand the meaning of this film. For me at that time, compared to the profound meaning of the film, that rainy afternoon and the TV set in the stairwell left a much deeper impression on me, and I still remember it to this day.
