I want to say, this is really a movie that is supported by Sun Wukong. I won't say much about the logic of the plot, so many people are giving one star, which shows the rottenness of this film. As soon as it came out, I was lying on my back. Isn't it all over the city with golden armor to reproduce the screen? At first, I was still blaming how to make such a traditional film so westernized. Later, I thought about Di Renjie. relieved. The faceless wizard of the demon race really challenged the bottom line, and when the panda came out, he finally completely broke through my psychological defense line. Heads full of WTF. . .
Fortunately, there is Sun Wukong.
Donnie Yen's performance is very good, in comparison, the Bull Demon King is a piece of shit. Fortunately, her wife is pretty.
Sun Wukong is really good. He has always been a rebel in our traditional culture. In fact, such an image is rare in classic works, which makes Wukong even more valuable. Wukong was born of Nuwa's spar, and he was gifted with extraordinary talent. When I first saw this place, I was very envious of such a good life, but then I suddenly thought: how lonely he should be. Indeed, among the monkeys in Huaguo Mountain, he is not their same kind. In the demon world and the god world, he can't find a sense of belonging, wandering without support, and does not belong to any place. Fortunately, Wukong's mind is pure, and he doesn't care. But watching him pursue the technique of "reviving the dead" throughout the whole play, you can actually see the unease and fear in his heart. He is afraid of losing his friends, losing the people he cares about. The little fox only had a relationship before he was born, and he kept it firmly in his heart. He has deep feelings for Monkey Monkey Sun, Little Fox, and Master. In fact, in the whole play, he didn't seek anything for himself. He went to the East China Sea to borrow weapons, went to heaven to learn from the dead, and even finally attacked Nantianmen for revenge, all for the sake of other people, the people he cared about.
Sun Wukong's character couldn't be better, he was sincere and scheming. When others say he is not human, he gets angry and defends his dignity. Seeing Pegasus being enslaved, he freed them all and returned them to their nature. In the end, the Buddha wanted to punish him by pressing him down the mountain (this part was very abrupt, and he didn't know how the Buddha came out). Several words "You are amazing", these are full of childish words, and it is only when he is open and upright in his heart that he says it.
Plus, Goku's free-spirited, unfettered, and ignorant of rules nature, I really like it.
"Don't forget the original intention" is the best annotation of Sun Wukong.
So, no matter how low the rating of this movie is, I just like what Monkey King likes so much, I just want to give it four stars.
