Before watching this movie, I opened several cartoons, but I couldn't watch any of them.

This documentary was made during the filming of the cartoon "The Wind Rises", and most of the scenes were filmed in the legendary Studio Ghibli. As the slow motion unfolded, Hayao Miyazaki, Toshio Suzuki, Isao Takahata, and Hideaki Anno entered the audience's field of vision.

If you are envious of such a casual job at the beginning of the documentary, as the documentary progresses, you already know that Mr. Miyazaki is actually very strict with himself and the employees of the studio, and the perfectionism of Capricorn is expressed incisively and vividly here. Of course, only the excellence of his works will make his films recognized and loved by most people.
If Hayao Miyazaki is an artist who is immersed in his own world, then Toshio Suzuki is an activist who promotes Hayao Miyazaki's works to the world. Although he is not young, Mr. Suzuki is still full of energy and energy. Getting along with people like this should make you happy every day. No matter how you look at them, they are people with high emotional intelligence and strong social skills.
Why did Hayao Miyazaki announce his retirement? Maybe the few words in the documentary have given the answer: it is no longer possible to create freely, and the pressure from the Japanese right-wing forces. This also explains why the old man announced his retirement, and why he privately said that he wanted to work for another ten years.
There are always many factors of last resort between ideal and reality.
