Revisit old movies

I recently revisited an old movie I watched when I was a child. I don’t know how many times I watched this movie. I remember that the first time I watched it was about 10 years ago, when I was still in elementary school. The most impressive part is Jet Li’s In the martial arts part, every time I watch it later, I have a different experience. Li Lianjie's righteousness and handsomeness and Zhong Liti's beauty are vividly displayed here. A man wants to protect a woman for his own mission. The plot of beauty and hero is always so cliché, but now it seems cliché but classic. I especially like the theme song "Don't Avoid My Eyes", "When relative becomes a habit, when the body wants to hide in your arms, when the feeling comes from your eyes, it is too difficult to protect the truth" I especially like the last scene, The car goes away, stop at the ceremony like this, go far away, and leave behind a love that I miss, it is actually quite beautiful.

The Defender quotes

  • Billy Yeung: [John didn't get anything for Michelle's birthday] You should have gotten her flowers, she loves flowers.

Allan Hui Ching-yeung: Yes. But what happens to a flower when you pick it? It loses it's life.

Billy Yeung: [a man comes in with a huge bouquet of flowers for Michelle from her boyfriend] Now all you have is a bunch of dead bodies.

  • Michelle Yeung: I see. Thanks so much.

Chiu Kwok-Man: [puts a cigar in his mouth] Bye now.

Charlie Leung Kam-Po: [grunts after getting burnt in the forehead by the cigar] I could arrest you right here on the street!

Kwok-Man's Lawyer: Hey, on what charge?

Charlie Leung Kam-Po: I haven't made up my mind.

    Kwok-Man's Lawyer: Then...

Charlie Leung Kam-Po: [bitterly] Bye, goodbye!
