pure love

I don't know if it's because I haven't watched a romance movie for a long time, or because I haven't been impressed by the romance movies I've seen. I watched this movie again today and felt pure love again. So good, pure love.
I remember the first time I saw a movie and felt that love was really beautiful when I was watching Jackie Chan's "Myth". At that time, I was still in junior high school, when I was in the beginning of love, and the whole family slept in the middle of the night. I was watching a midnight movie by myself. When Jackie Chan was flying around in Qinling with Jin Xishan in his arms, it was the first time that he felt that love can really be so beautiful, or maybe it was because Jin Xishan was too beautiful. Watching this "Zhongnanhai Bodyguard" again today, I felt the throbbing of love again. Unlike the unrestrained scene in "Myth", there are only Zhong Liti and Jet Li getting along with each other day and night, bit by bit. It feels like I haven't seen such a movie for a long time. I really don't know if I really haven't seen it, or if other movies really don't have this pure feeling. Beauties, heroes and natural love, Zhong Liti has no pretentious style, more like a pure and innocent girl; Jet Li does not have the frivolity of being arrogant and handsome, but only the heroic pride of taking responsibility. When Zhong Liti and Li Lianjie looked at each other in the house, a flood of emotions poured out, but the way of expression was subtle and shy. It was simple and only looked at each other, which was in line with Chinese aesthetics and emotional expression. Too many movies are straightforward, hugging each other, kissing and chewing, but what makes love really feel good is the hazy, lingering feeling, and this movie was made. Beauty and hero, it should last forever but has an imperfect ending, but the seemingly imperfect ending is the most perfect ending. Isn't the most beautiful thing about love also the first throbbing?
Thank you for this movie, it can bring good spirits.

  • Michelle Yeung: You made me cry. It won't happen again!

  • Billy Yeung: [John didn't get anything for Michelle's birthday] You should have gotten her flowers, she loves flowers.

Allan Hui Ching-yeung: Yes. But what happens to a flower when you pick it? It loses it's life.

Billy Yeung: [a man comes in with a huge bouquet of flowers for Michelle from her boyfriend] Now all you have is a bunch of dead bodies.
