Coincidentally, I just finished watching "The Lighthouse", which is also full of black and white, the same monotonous colors, the same dark and depressing, but this time the story is more real. I am very slow to read subtitles. It is rare for this movie to finally allow me to wait for subtitles, but there is very little dialogue in the nearly three hours long. Long, black-and-white images and plots that challenge the bottom line of human nature must be particularly bleak at the box office as a commercial film, but who knows where the bottom line of human nature is, or whether there is a bottom line.
The little boy who was poisoned by the war was the bird that was smeared. The war exposed the most vicious side of human nature in front of us. He lost the constraints of the laws and rules in the peaceful era, and the sin madly bit the world and left his parents. The child became the poorest bird. Even in times of peace, how much evil is lurking in the dark corners, so please protect your children.
The most impressive thing is that the little boy lay on the rails, and the trains slowly passed by, flickering and dark, he would laugh when he met the shadow, and he frowned when he met the sun. As early as that moment, he had already Accustomed to the darkness, when he suffered from atrocities and pain, he began to resist silently, perhaps initially to end the suffering, but eventually turned into a perpetrator unconsciously.
