"The Painted Bird"
First of all, a point of view: the Jews are nothing but a big bird, and it is not the paint that smears them, but the Nazi racism.
This is a film review. Although there is a book with the same name, I haven't had time to read it, so I dare not write it blindly.
I just finished watching this movie yesterday, so my memories and feelings can be said to be still steaming.
The movie is 169 minutes long, and there will be no 100 sentences in total. The pictures are black and white. No words are needed to win people's hearts. Only the pictures tell you what a smeared bird is.
To be honest, I guess very few people can watch it, because in a fast-paced society, the audience is also raised, and there is no breaking point to watch it. What? It's still black and white, are you crazy, let me see this.
This movie is really good! ! ! ! ! (put a few more exclamation marks to emphasize)
Seriously speaking reviews and impressions
My first impression was, can this be published?
The second reaction is, am I too safe.
I didn't live in a time of war or turmoil, as if the world has been peaceful to me since I was born, I haven't seen a single thing in the book with my own eyes, and the author says that what he said Every thing is a fact. Such a big difference, I had to be shocked.
Gouging people's eyes out of jealousy, stuffing large glass bottles into women's genitals, middle-aged men raping boys, and being planted in the ground by wizards like cabbage, these scenes are all so absurd, but are they true stories? If Jesus were still alive, he might not be able to resist such torture.
The title of the film, The Painted Bird, echoes a scene in the film where a bird catcher smears paint on the bird's wings before releasing the bird back into the flock. The end is not family joy, but all the birds are attacking the smeared bird with beaks and wings, and it falls from the sky to the ground without a trace of resistance.
The smeared bird is destined to be unable to return to the collective. When racism is branded on the Jews, it is not only Nazism in Germany.
It cannot be said that it truly reflects the situation of the Jews at that time (because I did not live at that time), but it can be said that it tells you what happened to the Jews on the largest scale.
Although it is a black and white movie, when you watch it for ten minutes, twenty minutes, you will forget that it has no color, and even feel that there should be no color.
An excellent film that translates racism, it is very precious to see such a film in this era.
Don't think that security in modern society is security.
People are actually smeared by other things, utilitarianism, money supremacy...etc
