Art and design always seem to be a topic linked to contemporary life. More and more young people are beginning to pay attention to art, but the design industry still seems to be in the blind spot of ordinary people.
After watching this movie, I just felt shocked. Before this, I knew nothing about the profession involved, totally a layman. And every designer in this film and their life stories are telling me vividly that there are such a group of people who are using their own way to weave the world, to express, and to connect human beings in their own way.
After watching this film, I felt that one of the best ways to understand a person is through his narration of his love, which is also where a person's charm and cultivation lie. The artists introduced in this documentary include photographers, shoe designers, car designers, architects and font and graphic designers. Each of them is a polyhedron, a magician of reason and emotion. Strong insight to describe and express, trying to use their own design to form resonance with human beings. In each episode, you may learn how their most classic works are formed, from the logic of conception to the process of realization; you will also complete a design project with the designers, find inspiration with them, and learn about their way of thinking. Most of them have their own careers, how they held their ground when faced with peer pressure and when their inspiration dried up, and how their life experiences have shaped the ground-breaking works they are today. Through this documentary, I also understood some areas that I had completely understood blank in the past, such as how the beauty and functionality of car design can be combined, how stage design and performance complement each other, and the ingenious echo of graphic design and life... .. Every time I watch it, it is a kind of enjoyment. I have a habit of observing every item in my life without realizing it, and I will start to think about the reason and emotion that the designer pours into them.
