Plot:
Climax is a 2018 psychological horror film directed, written and co-edited by Gaspar Noé. This film is an international co-production between France and Belgium. It was filmed in the same building in the winter of 1996. It was shot by a large dancer of twenty-four people (led by Sofia Boutella). It depicts the rehearsal of the French dance company. After the party. When everyone ate the sangria made with medicine, people became more and more excited and confused, and the celebration became darker.
The film is known for its distinctive style and production. It was conceived and pre-produced in only four weeks, and shot in chronological order in just 15 days: Although Noé envisioned this premise, the film’s greatness Some were not rehearsed at the scene. The actors performed improvisations on the spot, they did not have any dialogue beforehand, and they were almost completely free in the filming locations of the story and the characters. Climax has unusual editing and photography options, and includes several long shots, one of which lasted more than 42 minutes. The actors in this movie are almost entirely composed of dancers who have no performance experience except Boutella and Souheila Yacoub.
Climax premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival Director’s Fortnight on May 10, 2018, and won the Art Cinema Award. It was released dramatically by Wild Bunch in France on September 19, 2018, and on O'Brother Distribution in Belgium on November 21, 2018. The film was well received. Many critics praised the film's direction, film, soundtrack, dance and performance, although some criticized the film's violent behavior and lack of storyline.

Thoughts:
This is a film that promotes anti-drugs.
I really appreciate the one-shot shooting technique. In the same scene, all actors need to be in the scene. It gets rid of the inherent thinking mode of our audience, and uses a lot of interesting composition, such as flipping the 90-degree picture at the end to let the audience feel After this time, their world was turned upside down. There are many shots freely walking close to the ground, letting Mr. Guan act as an immersive corner to feel the people and things happening in this scene. There is also a bird’s eye view, which puts the audience in the role of a god. At the same time, because the theme is related to the dancer, this angle can show an extraordinary vision, and the dancer’s agile body tension is better reflected.
The beginning of the interview seemed boring, but in fact, it held the audience's heart the most and laid a good foundation for the unimaginable world in the future. People can't help but sigh at how beautiful a group of young people are so sad that happens in one night because of drugs, and one night can hurt people to the limit. Recently I have been thinking about how endless human desires are. In fact, this movie can be shown. What impressed me was that one of the pregnant women did not take fruit wine, but under the instigation of a group of unconscious people, she actually hurt herself and killed the child in her womb. It can be seen that she is human. The influence is endless. Even when you are awake, you will be brainwashed, and you will feel that you are the one who is wrong. And the mother and the child made me feel very sad. The mother locked him up in order to prevent the child from being injured, but instead let him touch the electricity, and the mother also hurt herself because of the loss of the child.
This film continues the director's bright colors as always. He uses a lot of fantasy lights to create an unusual space. Using novel shooting angles and tense shooting vision, the audience is placed in different roles. At the beginning it looks like an interviewer’s perspective to observe, the middle of the film is like a judge’s perspective to observe, and finally it is like one of obsessed. The role of is generally cast into this whirlpool. But I think the only shortcoming is that the story structure of this film is incomplete. It seems to describe a very simple story, but it is a pity that there is no complete framework to support this story. But I can't let me not sigh for the director's narrative technique, which makes people unable to predict what will happen in the next second of the film. The director's unique graphic design method continues the usual multi-form combination of fonts and pictures, breaking the cast and crew list that only appears before and after the film, but placing these words in the film in the form of posters. I can’t help but sigh at the use of his venue. In fact, he only used it in a dance studio and dormitory space, but showed a 90-minute movie in one step. Long shots were used in this space to show a series of changes in time and situation. , Which reflects that any limited space will not be a limitation of the creator.
