"Incheon Landing", I don't know much about this history, so I specially revisited this past with the help of the Internet, and checked the relevant literature.
The Inchon Landing (Korean: 인천상륙작전; code name: Operation Chromite) was a pivotal battle in the Korean War. The landing campaign began on September 15, 1950, and ended on September 28. The success of this battle is considered to be a work created by Douglas MacArthur, a five-star general of the US Army in his later years, which is enough to carry the world military history forever (through the joint army launched an attack on the encircled southern Korea, to contain it, and led the US military to surprise Incheon, Boldly land, take it in one go, take it down)
The key point of the adaptation of the historical theme written in the opening chapter is "authenticity", respecting history and taking history as a mirror
Into the
analysis of the authenticity of the commentary film
Although the film is promoted with the gimmick of "restored history", the "history" in the film is obviously insufficient. The reason, two directions for you to think about
1. As a viewer (bystander) perspective. I fully understand the unforgettable and impassioned feelings of Korean directors about this history, and I fully recognize that the film editing is based on the consideration that "the film originates from history and is higher than history". So I don't want to overly torture the creators why they beautify South Korea and the US coalition so much. I just want to talk about a "degree" issue here. There is no objection to the modification of history, but it cannot be "exceeded", as the so-called "excessive is not enough", the work exaggerates the talent and courage of the South Korean contingent, each one defeats a hundred, "throwing their heads and pouring blood", it feels like a group of superhumans Squad. In contrast, take a look at the North Korean soldiers in the film. They are all weak, cowardly, cowardly, hypocritical, and cunning? This is too "excessive", and it is obviously the "bad taste" of the director and screenwriter.
2. As someone who has read this historical document carefully. I don't know the common sense of the film director and screenwriter. Relying on a few undercover South Koreans to take over the North Korean military base of tens of thousands of people? After being shot by a machine gun, you can continue to persevere, and can you still shoot to cover the retreat of your teammates? Jumping from a tall building while escaping intact? Is war a child's play? This is the real subject! Not "Marvel"! As mentioned earlier, "taking history as a mirror, we can know the rise and fall", "Bangzi" is out of reality and beautifies the Korean theme, "Kimchi flavor" is a strong brainwashing propaganda film, buddies are incompetent to appreciate.
The professional film review website has
a low score. Needless to say, once the historical film is divorced from the facts, it is nothing.
Freshness on Rotten Tomatoes: 40% (appropriate)
Metacritic Score: 50
The actors of the film analyze the
three protagonists
Douglas MacArthur, a famous American military strategist, a five-star general, and a wizard in the history of American warfare.
Played by Liam Neeson, a veteran actor, the film shows MacArthur's resourcefulness and daring
Zhang Xuexiu, captain of the South Korean Navy (the prototype is Lieutenant Eugene Keeler of the US Navy)
played by Li Zhengzai, a powerful actor and a South Korean actor, the performance in the film is quite satisfactory, and the opposite scene with Li Fanxiu is very exciting
Lin Guizhen,
played by Li Fanxiu (fictional character), the commander of the North Korean Army's Incheon defense, Li Fanxiu, perfectly interprets and interprets the North Korean soldiers (eyes, hairstyle, dialect, body movements), which can be regarded as a textbook-like classic model
Plot Analysis
tells that during the Korean War, eight South Korean soldiers secretly completed the X-RAY intelligence plan and the Palmi Island operation plan, and promoted the successful landing of US Army General MacArthur in Inchon
. The seemingly grand plot, there are only two memorable clips, as for The long-awaited highlight of the film, the Inchon Landing, only has a few minutes of footage, so let's not mention it.
The first is the North Korean operational deployment meeting VS the US military deployment meeting. This clip is very interesting, not only the two sides (North Korea and the United States) battle wits and courage, but also the two protagonists (MacArthur and Lin Guizhen) defying all opinions, insisting on their own views, and finally successfully persuaded all parties to fight in a decisive battle. Incheon. In addition to the tension and excitement of the plot, the design of the lines and the timing of the camera switching are the icing on the cake, as if MacArthur and Lin Guizhen had a dialogue and tit for tat (you can understand the wonderful meaning after watching the film)
In the second place, Zhang Xuexiu devised a plan to interview Lin Guizhen, so that his subordinates could successfully steal the DPRK's combat blueprints. The point of interest is that two people with different positions fight for their own ideals. There is no right or wrong, only the spirit of the liver and brain, the spirit of blood spilling on the battlefield, and the cruelty of the war is vividly reflected.
The "50 cents" special effect reproduces the
random screenshots of the rivers and lakes, experience it, the eyes are full of props, the fake made by the aircraft carrier and the plane, I can't bear to look directly at it, it is worse than the Ultraman in the 1970s, I really don't know if I don't see it, just take a look startled
At the end of the writing, I don't really like Korean heroism, but I can't compliment a historical drama like this. Except for the actors' dedication and commendable efforts, the rest of the film are scumbags (especially the director and screenwriter). The vulgar open-hungry plot, which completely disrespects history, is simply the Korean War version of "Marvel". This work has completely lost the heritage of historical dramas, and has completely evolved into a single Korean-style patriotic propaganda film. Douglas MacArthur, the United Army, and the Korean People's Army have all become cannon fodder written by the screenwriter. It's a pity, it's a shame, it's ridiculous.
