I was very sad after watching Annette, chatting with a friend, talking about Karax, I madly introduced Karax to him, and also madly told him not to look at Annette.
Karax is my god, because of him I believe in the way I see the world, because of him I see a way that whispers eternity, because of him I'm trying to find love. But in Annette there is no love but repentance. The saddest thing is that he seems to have become submissive. Later, when I recall Almodovar's Julieta in 16 years, it also makes me sad. From the current point of view, Almodovar still has glittering pain and glory after that. We need to give Eros the right to be mediocre. Life outside the movie is more important than the movie itself (friends said that the heroine of Paula X passed away , I don't know if this is his confession) I believe that the vitality he has always brought me is enough for me to live bravely for a long, long day.
