For the first time, there was a domestic film that received applause from the audience after the screening ended without the premiere.
When I applaud, I just want to sing praises to Chinese films—praise Chinese filmmakers for daring to make this film, and even sing praises that this film can be released in Chinese theaters. It is not modest to say that this film can almost be regarded as a milestone for domestic films. It allows us to see the obvious progress of domestic films.
A good movie, just the subject matter is not enough. A good story, of course, needs to be told by good actors. In this movie, everyone's acting -- mind you, everyone -- is, terrific.
Needless to say, Xu Zheng, Zhou Yiwei, Yang Xinming, Wang Yanhui, Tan Zhuo, and Li Naiwen all have textbook acting skills. It's only a matter of time before they become recognized actors.
The performance of Wang Chuanjun and Zhang Yu in the film is the biggest surprise of this film. It is also almost the two who brought the most tears.
A good story, generally speaking, is not terribly sad or happy. Especially the sad part, emotionally, must be restrained. Although I heard some sobbing from time to time, I also saw a few pairs of red eye circles when I left, but it did not deliberately provocative. The pack of tissues that I carried with me was finally useless.
Well, I also restrained my emotions, because I held back tears from my eyes to my heart. Maybe the second or third brush will release this restraint.
In the viewing experience, I have an unknown psychological insight-
When the audience walks into the theater, they sometimes have expectations for the movie they are watching. Expectation and viewing experience are often inversely proportional. The higher your expectations, the more likely you may feel that your expectations are not up to your expectations after reading it. The expectations are not high, or when there is no expectation, after watching the movie, you will feel that the movie is not bad.
And for this movie, I came with high expectations. After watching it, I can clearly feel that it is better than I expected.
So, without spoilers, wanted to talk a little more about the good story this movie tells.
When I was a child, I read Zheng Yuanjie's fairy tales, and there was a saying, which has always been very impressive--nothing, no money, nothing, sickness. The film tells the story of people who have no money spending money on medical treatment.
Of course life is more important than money.
Both the rich and the poor.
Rich people can spend all their wealth to treat diseases - if their life is good, they will be cured and continue to be rich; if their life is bad, they will become poor if they cannot be cured.
People who have no money, after quickly going bankrupt, if they can't cure their diseases, they really can only wait for death; people who don't want to wait for death will do everything possible to survive.
Because sometimes, life is not just for yourself.
It may be to ensure the basic life of the old and the young; it may be to watch the newly born child grow up slowly; it may also be to leave a hope for the family who can't bear to part... In short, we must live. go down.
It was the "God of Medicine" who gave these people hope of survival.
In this story, the original intention of the "Medicine God" is not to be a good person. On his way to truly become the "God of Medicine", many stories happened. These stories, in addition to using time to measure, also used a lot of life to measure.
And the greatness of "Medicine God" is that he finally chose to be a good person.
Dare to give up everything and be a good person.
You are God.
