The special effects are well done. Japanese ninjas should not be too cool, and they can do anything.
Ishida Mitsunari and Tokugawa Ieyasu compete for a complex historical background after the monkey's death. (I forgot how the monkey died in the film..) I am very
impressed with some of the lines in the film,
Oda (to the child Goemon): If you become stronger, you will not be bullied. I am very strong.
I still remember in Journey to the West (Japanese version), the King of the Golden Horn said to Sun Wukong: "Humans are very weak and timid creatures... (omitted)" The
Japanese really admire the strong.
