A two-stage structure, with contrasting figures in each structure, finally reflects the big theme: the duality of human beings. This is a good idea in the play, but I don't think it's well grasped by the director as a whole.
The overall flaws are: First, the film lacks a sense of rhythm. This sense of rhythm is manifested in the fact that the whole is very slow, and the second is the lack of a sense of change, that is, a sense of rhythm. Second, the film lacks tension. My film values feel that film art is the ultimate art, both in terms of the typicality of the characters, the extremeness of the play and the form of shot composition. 3. Attempt to describe the film in the form of literature. The interpretation of the text appears in the latter part of the film, and I hate this narrative method. In the last paragraph, words do more than pictures. 4. Too much focus on the atmosphere and lack of rendering. The overall style of the film is that natural sound occupies the whole. This atmosphere is too focused, but it lacks the realism of the audio-visual world, and the key points are not rendered, such as the love in one paragraph and the fear in the second paragraph. 5. The use of lenses lacks unity and style.
The reason for living in the play can still be seen. Especially the last paragraph is about interpreting human nature and animal nature. A very good script was given by the director...
Today, I listened to the director's lecture. It was ramble, without focus, running accounts, and lacking a sense of rhythm. Peeping the leopard in the tube! ~
