This is about youth and growth s story.
Different from the cynicism in "The Elephant", different from the loneliness and despair in "Guling Street Teenage Murder", different from the clean and disappointed in "Seventeen-Year-Old Bicycle", and even different from the "Bad Boy's Sky". Infatuation with desire. The youth here is pink, with the smell of fascination, a little indifferent, but still naked and beautiful.
I fell in love with the moment when the two boys were riding motorcycles on the road in the film, Francois leaned gently behind Sejé, leaning on each other expressionlessly. The breeze ruffled the boy's hair, and the young face was holy in the sunlight.
So let's go back to the beginning of the movie. This is what happened in France in the 1960s. People lingering in the shadow of the war with Algeria long for peace and for their relatives on the distant battlefield.
The young François is pale and weak but talented, has a regular girlfriend but has never had sex with him. All this is in Enli's eyes, he understands the mind of the young Francois and listens to his words. The story, like most youth movies, is a little lost or sad, but not hopeless.
Three teenagers with different personalities and backgrounds collided with youthful sparks, they wandered between politics, love and human nature. Like fragile reeds, swaying in the wind, weak and confused, they are always exposed to the sun and never give in.
If the growth of teenagers is to continue to pursue the dawn of hope after facing the dark world again and again, then the youthful publicity and the temptation of youth that belong to them actually exudes a charming fragrance.
The despair of death is not terrible, the most terrible thing is the hope that still exists after facing death again and again.
